“Leo had an amazing time with Melissa and her family. She had her dogs which kept him busy and happy as he loves to play with others and he got plenty of cuddles. “When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. About: I have taken care of other peoples pets since I was a teenager. I have done drop ins and over night care for dogs and cats! I know fur babies are family and I take very good care of them. I have two dogs and four cats of my own! I would love the chance to let your pet get out and potty/stretch during the day or evening while you’re away. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a lot of free time during the week as well as weekends. I can be available during the times of 8:30am-7:30pm or additional times if needed! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

I have a fenced in yard at my dads with a Great Dane, and I have to walk my moms maltipoo and morkie. I’ve also always had a cat or 2 and even a few reptiles. Nothing scares me so I can do it all 🤣.

This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable. In the beginning I expect normal hesitation, so I am patient and playful to earn trust until everyone is comfortable.
