About: I have previous experience working as a field manager for a professional pet care company where I have taken care of dozens of dogs/cats of all ages with many different routines/needs, I have my Pet First Aid and CPCR certification, and I currently have two young German Shepherd pups of my own! I have always been very passionate about animals and know how important it is to feel that your pets are in good hands when you are away. I currently work an early morning part-time job, which leaves me the rest of the day to play with your pups! I am available during the week and on most weekends for boarding and walking. I live near many different walking trails to keep your dogs entertained. I have a fenced in yard and two young German Shepherd dogs who LOVE playing with other dogs. I am currently transitioning from a 13 year Nanny position into my dream job of caring for animals full time. Three years ago, I started pet sitting part-time and have gotten rave reviews and I absolutely love it!! (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. “From the very start, Matt impressed us with his prompt, thoughtful, and thorough communication. That same level of care carried through our meet-and-greet and throughout our puppy’s stay. We loved receiving his twice-daily updates and photos — it was clear our dog was not only well cared for but truly happy. When we returned from our trip abroad, jet lagged and exhausted, Matt gladly agreed to keep our pup an extra night so we could rest. When we picked him up, it was obvious how loved and well looked after he’d been. We couldn’t recommend Matt more highly and will definitely be booking with him again.”
