“Our pup Neptune had a great time with Amber this weekend! She was accommodating, despite only booking days before I needed her, and squeezed in a meet and great to ensure it was the right fit for us both. She was very informative and sent many pictures and videos of our little guy enjoying time with his new buddies. My son thoroughly enjoyed the updates and videos as his missed his puppy. We can’t say enough great things about the decision to use Amber and alleviate the worry about our guy while we were time zones away. I’ve already began checking into booking Amber again for our next adventures.”

“We always have the best experience with Kathryn! She took care of our girl so well and kept us updated consistently while we were away. Cannot recommend her enough!!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our sweet goldendoodle, Farley! Heather went above and beyond, caring for our old boy better than we could have ever imagined. She kept us updated with tons of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Farley was clearly loved, pampered, and treated like family. We will definitely be booking with Heather again—she’s the best!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Brent! He took care of my dog, Roma, for 10 days while we were on vacation. I was honestly a little nervous at first leaving her somewhere new for that long, but he made it so easy to relax. He sent me updates every single day, which meant a lot, and it was clear Roma was having the best time with him. I’d recommend Brent without hesitation. Seriously, you can trust him with your pet with your eyes closed!”

“Hannah provided great care for my dogs, as well as thorough updates, with pictures. The pups seemed to enjoy there time with her and I would not hesitate to take them back!”

“Traci was wonderful for our girls! Very kind and attentive, sending us daily pictures to put our mind at ease that our girls were happy and well taken care of. She treated them like her own, and for that we are incredibly grateful!”

“Sarah and Jacob are so great! Duncan loves going to their house. Sarah and Jacob are so reliable and communication with them is seamless. We will always have Sarah and Jacob watch our pup.”

“Thank you for taking care of our pups for a few days while we were away and for going above and beyond!! We really appreciated all the pictures, videos and updates of our pups!”

“Great communication leading up to our stay. Jeleesa was amazing with my pup! My dog came home just as happy as when I left her- I highly recommend to anyone needed a “home away from home” for their animal!”

“Kristina was great! First of all I had some uncertainties in my travel plans that she was understanding about as I worked through the final dates/times. She shared pictures and videos during my dog’s stay. I could see he was comfortable there and having fun. Buster was well taken care of and I would book with Kristina again.”

About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I give updates often and will have plenty of photos to share with you! My dogs are super friendly to all animals as they lived on a farm before. I’m hoping to help families while providing for mine:) Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I own my own business and work for myself, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize animals throughout the day. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.
“Was flexible and took great care of our cats during the holiday season! Great communication and was super friendly and helpful to take in packages and go extra to provide info about our failing heat pump. Great Rover, thank you!”

About: As the owner of three cats, I’m deeply familiar with daily feline care, from administering medications to maintaining multiple litter boxes. I prioritize cleanliness, routines, and reducing stress so cats feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for in their own environment.
About: I’ve taken care of dog for the last three years. I’m very trust worthy and compassionate when it comes to dogs, friends and family trust me with there pets I’m currently working during the week, but I’m available every weekend and also every Friday after 4:00 pm so I’ll have plenty of time to play with animals on weekends. I have a wide opened smoke free apartment so the pets could run freely and be comfortable. There is plenty of out door space also with a nature trail to walk.
“Alexandria was wonderful with our animals! Even the mean cat seemed to like her, which is pretty rare. Yoshi was very excited to see her when she came for their visits. All animals had full water and food when we got back, my spiteful cat hadn’t broken anything out of boredom or spite from being left behind (he hates having us leave for king periods of time)”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and i’ve always loved animals. Anyone who knows me will tell you that my dog is the only thing i ever talk about! I can’t wait to meet you and your pets :) I am currently in school so my schedule tends to be all over the place, feel free to reach out and we can see if I would be a good fit for you! Currently i am not doing boarding in my home, however meet and greets beforehand are always welcomed and I will provide pictures of your pet throughout my visit with them.

“Madison did a great job, she was able to win our cat's confidence quickly and took excellent care of him while we were on vacation. She kept us fully informed every day, spent time with him so he didn't feel lonely, and sent us pictures daily. Highly recommended!”

“Juliann definitely relieved a lot of my worries about my cats being taken care of while on vacation. She responds promptly and is thorough about every detail even before the visit, which made me feel a lot better about the drop-in visit as this was my first time using Rover. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a pet sitter!”

“Jennifer was great with Jasmine. Very kind and gentle and laid back which is Jasmine’s kind of style. When we did a meet and greet Jennifer came compared to learn what she needed to do for the sitting, which put me and my family at ease leaving her alone with someone Jasmine didn’t know. I would definitely hire her again to watch Jasmine. ?”

“Chris was very patient, flexible, accommodating, and understanding. We had last minute plans and needed someone to look after our Saint Bernard. We did a meet and greet and a daycare session to get her comfortable before we leave and he did a great job!”

“I was so happy to find this sitter! We just adopted a rescue dog. He has a lot of anxiety. He needs special care while he is adjusting to his new home. Because of his anxiety he needs a low stimulation environment. She has been so good working with my dogs special needs! I can’t say enough good about her!! We are so grateful for the care she has given our dog!!”

“HIGHLY recommend! Willing to take pup at the last min. and the enviroment is dog friendly! My boy was happy when we arrived and yet not anxious to leave! Thank you!”

“Yeny was kind enough to do a list minute Day Care for us on our Anniversary. Easy drop off and pick up. She was walking her as we arrived to pick up and passed them..! She seemed happy and exercised. The whole family seems to participate in the care of the animals. Yeny took the time to hand feed her a bit at her first dinner away from home to get her started. She took to the time to talk about her day with our pup before we left. It seems to be a caring environment. We will definitely use her again.”

About: Hi there! I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, including those who are shy or anxious, and I always take a calm, patient approach so they can feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. With anxious dogs especially, I focus on creating a gentle, low-pressure environment by slow introductions, calm energy, and routines that help build trust over time. I pay close attention to body language and adjust to whatever each dog needs in the moment, whether that’s space, reassurance, or a quiet walk. I also make sure to follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is to be someone you and your dog feel completely comfortable with, like a trusted friend who shows up and cares every time. All dogs need to be current on their vaccinations (including bordatella) and flea/tick preventative. Please provide a screenshot of their most recent shots through the Rover app. I currently do NOT take more than 1 pup at a time unless the client requesting themselves has 2 pups that need taking care of! PLEASE NOTE: If you plan on booking for extended stay, our price is $40 a night for 5 days. I'm currently not employed so your pet will be attended to at all day! Any accommodation you need for them, I can surely provide at any time. I have a fenced yard and currently no other pets in the house, meaning your pet will have 100% of our time and attention so they don't feel out of place!

About: I absolutely adore animals. I have four children who are also huge animal lovers so if you board with us in home your pet will be absolutely doted on. I love being outside and going on long walks and would love to accompany your dog on their daily walk. We have a tremendous amount of time to play with your pet, take them on walks, and give them the attention they not only require but also deserve. We have a decent sized fenced in yard which is perfect for lots of play time! We are very attentive to animals and have experience giving medication including shots.
About: Been taking care of pets since I was in Highschool. It was always a fun way to get my pet fix since we didn’t have any growing up! Stay at home mom of 3 young boys so I’m always home. This will give us a new purpose during the day which is much needed. It will also give me the chance to spend time with all these sweet animals instead of trying to own a million of them myself 😂 A bonus of booking with me is your pet will get lots of one on one attention as this is not like your average corporate kennel. We provide a cozy environment within our home. Your animals will get all the love and attention all the while getting treated as one of our own🤍 I am trying to put my sweet boys through private school and thought this would be an awesome way to do so since it’s something me and my whole family will love! Big animal lovers over here:) We will provide a loving home with a big fenced in back yard for all to play. Can’t wait to love on and help take care of/entertain your fur babies!
About: Aside from having pets since childhood, including farm animals, I also have professional experience. I started working at a kennel at age 22 with tasks such as bathing, walking, training and playtime supervision. I was in charge of 15 dogs at a time. I then moved on to vet care for 3 years learning animal health and behavior. I work from home and very available for pets needs and provide individual care as needed. I have a great understanding of pet behavior and react accordingly. My dogs get let out at least 4 times daily. All dogs in my home can free roam and only caged if requested by owner either nightly or while I'm out. The privacy fenced in yard provides a safe place to play.

“They are amazing! I’ve never trusted anyone more with my dog. They treated my dog like he was their own and it made me feel so comfortable leaving him there. They were very flexible and I loved them!!”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. Since I’m not working right now, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m happy to help however I can! In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. I make sure they get plenty of attention and care!

About: Hi! My name is Lessette. My fiancée and I Dustin have been caring for dogs for as long as we can remember, we truly adore all animals. While I’m new to the Rover app, I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and treat every pup as if they were my own. We are open to onboarding dogs and currently have two of our own: Tank, a 3-year-old French Bulldog, and Beau, a 1-year-old Bernedoodle. We’ve had our dogs since they were puppies and have trained them to be well-mannered, social, and comfortable around other dogs in a variety of settings. Please make sure your pup is fully vaccinated, potty trained (for the most part, we understand accidents may happen: especially in a new environment), non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs! We provide a loving, structured, and fun environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. I’m more than happy to take your pup to the dog park (with approval) and can also help with transportation to and from vet visits or appointments as needed. Your dog will be treated like family while in our care! Our large, fully fenced backyard is regularly trimmed and well maintained to support a clean, pest-conscious outdoor environment. We are located close to Downtown Fredericksburg!

About: Hello, My name is Stephanie. Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded by animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, horse, etc. When I turned 21, my sister and I bought a 67 acre farm in PA which we still own. I have since moved to VA with my husband and 3 kids along with our Furbabies. Yes, I had to upgrade to a mini van just to fit everyone but I wouldn't want it any other way. I would treat your babies as if they were my own. I would make sure they recieve tons of love while you are gone with updated pictures if requested. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you! Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my day it is my day. 🐾 Pet sitting is my full-time job, so my daily and weekly routine revolves around making sure every animal in my care feels safe, loved, and well exercised. I provide care in both my home and my clients’ homes, depending on the service selected and what keeps each pet most comfortable. Every pet is different, so I tailor care to their energy level, personality, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are safe and happy.

About: Growing up surrounded by the wagging tails of dogs and the gentle purrs of cats, my love for animals has been a lifelong passion. With over six years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the care of your beloved pets. My background ensures that I am well-equipped to handle any situation with calm and confidence. In addition to my professional experience, I have been an active volunteer and foster for a local dog rescue organization for the past five years. During this time, I have fostered over 70 rescue dogs, providing them with the love, care, and stability they need to thrive and find their forever homes. My extensive experience with both dogs and cats, combined with my veterinary skills and dedication to rescue work, ensures that your pets will receive the highest level of care and attention. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or medical needs, I am committed to making your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you are away. As someone who works from home, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent and attentive care to each pet throughout the day. Here’s a glimpse of how pet care fits into my daily life: Morning Routine: Early Walks: I start the day with early morning walks or playtime in the yard, ensuring that pets get their first burst of energy out and start their day on a positive note. Feeding Time: After exercise, it’s breakfast time. I follow each pet’s specific dietary needs and ensure they have fresh water. Midday Routine: Interactive Play: Mid-morning, I take breaks from work to engage in interactive play sessions or training exercises, stimulating both their minds and bodies. Potty Breaks: Regular potty breaks are scheduled to keep pets comfortable and maintain a routine. Afternoon Routine: Exercise & Walks: Another round of exercise or a walk in the afternoon keeps pets active and happy. For those staying at my home, this might include a visit to a local park or a playdate with other friendly pets. Quiet Time: Pets also enjoy some quiet time while I focus on work, with cozy spaces available for napping and relaxation. Evening Routine: Dinner Time: As the workday winds down, it’s time for their evening meal. I maintain their feeding schedules and monitor their intake. Evening Walks & Play: We finish the day with another walk or play session, ensuring they are tired and content for the night. Nightly Routine: Before bed, I provide another potty break and some final cuddles or quiet time to help them settle in for a restful night. Weekend Routine: Extra Attention: Weekends often include extra activities like longer walks, visits to pet-friendly places, or more extended play sessions to make the most of the extra time. Working from home allows me to be present and responsive to the needs of each pet, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve throughout the day. This routine provides a balanced blend of work and pet care, creating a harmonious and happy environment for everyone. Caring for Pets in My Home: I live in a Townhouse with a fully fenced in backyard. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to explore and play. Each pet gets individual attention tailored to their needs, including regular exercise, feeding schedules, and plenty of affection. I have designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing to ensure their comfort and happiness. Additionally, I maintain a pet-friendly home with secure fencing and pet-proofing measures to ensure their safety.Caring for Pets in Your Home:When I care for pets in their own home, I strive to maintain their usual routines and provide a familiar environment to minimize stress. I ensure that your home remains clean and secure, and I am diligent about updating you on your pet's well-being.
