While I will happily accept ALL dogs under 30lbs, I specialize in elderly pets/special needs pets who don't do well in boarding situations and need extra care throughout the day. I'm well-versed in administering oral medication, injections, and even subcutaneous fluids as needed. I am available 24hrs a day for potty breaks and medication routines. I offer overnight stays in my home specifically for: Elderly pups and pups of all ages with special needs (Under 40lbs) who would not do well in a boarding facility. Your pups would be the center of attention in the house while they were here. We do have cats in the house, so please let us know if your pup has any issues with smaller animals. If so, we can still accommodate them, we would just have them in our dog-only area! I have a 'dog room' at home with a couch for relaxing and reading or gaming/watching Disney+ on our large screen TV, an echo dot that will play calming classical music while I am out of the room, and a padded floor with lots of rugs around for the older pups. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. I currently work full time from home so I can watch them during the week day in my home and let out for potty breaks often! I can go to your home on weekends anytime and during the week after 4 pm. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love fur friends! And we have one girl who only loves her fur siblings but she keeps to herself and I will keep her separated from your animal. I have 42 acres to take your dog on long walks and play in our field. I will leash walk your dog at my house. We do let our dogs sleep in our bed so if your fur baby is used to that they are more then welcomed to sleep in our bed. If not we have an extra crate for night time.

Dani was the person home, and she was so warm and friendly and knows a ton about dogs. Even though my baby had an atypical reactive moment when she first met her puppy playmate, Dani wasn’t phased at all, and coached me on how to proceed. “That’s very normal,” she said, and within 30 seconds - 1 minute, Makkachin realized she had a friend and was her usual friendly, playful self! The had a BLAST running around their expansive backyard with her nee puppy friend, and Dani was very attentive. When I came to pick Makka up, Dani brought her right to the door, leashed up and bag packed. She said Makka did a great job and welcomed us back any time. We’ll definitely use them again soon!”

About: I have had a variety of animals my whole life! I absolutely love being around animals and spending time with them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, all the way from newborn to seniors! I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! I will have plenty of time to tend to your animals and take care of their needs. I have a very large unfenced yard that would be great for leashed activities like walking and going potty. I also have a fenced area that’s perfect for some unleashed outdoor time. I would keep any pets inside most of the time to ensure safety while I am with them. About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. I work full time but with my schedule it is very flexible after 12pm. If all goes well would love to make this a full time opportunity. I have a large yard for your pet to play in as well as a dog of my own that will give your dog some company. She is very friendly and loves to play ball.
About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.

About: I have a long history of working with dogs and other animals. Your companion will get several walks per day on the trails, varying in length from 1 to 5 miles at a time depending on your dogs energy level and tolerance. Option of having me take your dog to a dog park for extra play time and socialization if you would like them to go. I currently bring my dog to the park on a daily basis. Grooming included if requested by owner including bathing, brushing and nail clipping. Hillary let my pup have time to get used to the property and meet the family before I left. She made space for my dog and her dog to eat separately. The farm and home are beautiful and well maintained. She sent pictures daily showing my pup out and about and enjoying fun experiences. I think my pup thought she was at some farm resort for dogs. About: I have had a variety of animals my whole life! I absolutely love being around animals and spending time with them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, all the way from newborn to seniors! I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! I will have plenty of time to tend to your animals and take care of their needs. I have a very large unfenced yard that would be great for leashed activities like walking and going potty. I also have a fenced area that’s perfect for some unleashed outdoor time. I would keep any pets inside most of the time to ensure safety while I am with them. I do have a crate that I could keep your pet in while I am at work (if your baby is crate trained). All animals are allowed to roam the house and sleep in the bed if that’s allowed at home!
