They took the time to show us both the inside of their home and their yard, which was very important to us, and it was immediately obvious how organized and prepared they are. They asked thoughtful questions about Charlie and Roscoe's personalities, routines, feeding schedules, medications, supplements, allergies, and habits so they could care for them exactly the way we do. Amy and Grant took the time to understand each of their individual needs, and it was obvious from the beginning that they truly wanted to provide the same level of care our dogs receive at home. We had a last-minute schedule change that was completely my fault, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating without making me feel like it was an inconvenience. Throughout their seven-day stay, they sent multiple updates every day with photos and videos that made us smile and reassured us that our boys were happy, safe, and loved. It was especially sweet to see their children spending time with Charlie and Roscoe and treating them like members of the family. The thing that impressed me most was the incredible attention to detail. They sent home a spreadsheet documenting everything—from feedings, medications, and supplements to personalities, allergies, and routines. Because we have a very specific way of caring for our dogs, that level of organization meant the world to us. Amy and Grant cared for Charlie and Roscoe as if they were their own, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. About: Growing up I always wanted a dog and so one day my father actually brought a friend's dog home for a week stay but we soon found out we would get to keep him. He was a Jack Russell/Terrier Mix and his name was Mumuz. Unfortunately due to old age and many more health complications my parents decided to let him rest in peace. Not too soon before that I decided to adopt a dog of my own. Chief is his name and he's a handsome black lab who's just a sweet gentleman. He's my child and he's the best decision I ever made. So over the years I've learned to take care of dogs mostly and I did cat sit for my neighbor's cat,April, and I would administer insulin for April's diabetes and I would cat sit her next cat who was disabled with only three legs until my neighbor sadly passed away. My love for animals runs deep and I want to help other pet lovers have a reliable sitter that they can trust to watch their child because all animals are really are children. But I am about to start the Spring semester at a local college to earn my associates degree in veterinary medicine and then eventually work at a vet clinic or hospital. So I may be young but my love for animals has never stopped growing. That's why you should choose me because I love animals, working towards the veterinary medicine field, energetic, outgoing, very understanding, and great communication. I do currently work at a private doctors office Monday-Thursday but always willing to drive back and forth and am hoping to use Rover to make a little bit of extra money until I complete my associates degree and get a job in the veterinary medicine field. I generally will ask the client about the pet's food and eating schedule first to make sure of any specifications needed. If the owner has a fence I will mainly be outside playing with the dog(s) to help get out any of that extra energy they may have. If the client permits I love to take the animal on a car ride unless the animal is scared of car rides. If so I would walk to a local park to still get out the extra energy. When getting back to the house fill up the water bowl as soon as possible if not filled already so the dog(s) can be hydrated after a good workout. Finally a little bit of cuddle time to show affection and give comfort to the animal when their owner is not there. And always take potty breaks every 2-3 hours especially right before bed so that the dog(s) can get some rest until they have to go out again.

Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. His name is Maverick! He's 2 and such a loving, happy dude! I currently dog sit my mom's 3 Boston Terriors whenever she needs to go out of town and have been since I was a teenager. I also take in my best friend's older pit bull, Cookie, and her and Maverick get along wonderfully! There's plenty of space to walk dogs around my apartment community, along with a fenced in tennis court area where they can run free! I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

About: Hi my names Amadi. Thanks for taking a second to check out my profile! I have a little over 15 years of experience in training dogs, helping with socialization skills, and general caretaking. Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

About: I am a 26yr old, active, organized and compassionate mom looking for some extra hours. I grew up on a horse farm with a couple dozen cats, and multiple dogs of all sizes over the years. From English mastiffs to Chihuahuas. My own pup bodhi LOVES playing tag and wrestling. We own our home. There are baby gates throughout to separate the dogs from the playroom, daughter’s bedroom, and kitchen when we’re eating. We have a 6 foot fully fenced backyard with cameras. Before moving into my own home, we shared a house with 5 other dogs/roommates which they got along with well. I don’t mind animals being on furniture as long as they have boundaries, they’re welcome to get up and snuggle. We have multiple dog beds, two couches and a love seat the animals can lay on. As well as a cat tree, two litter boxes, and cat beds in the windowsills for sunbathing baby’s. I have a 3yr old daughter that has grown up around animals. Rats, cats, snakes, small and large dogs, ect. and loves the daily feeding and petting new friends. We wake up around 8:30am, let the dogs out, fill water bowls and eat breakfast while the dogs play in the yard. Depending on the weather, the dogs like to stay out for awhile! Once it starts to heat up they come in to relax. They let us know when they want to come and go usually. They go out again around 5pm-6pm, eat on the patio, then come inside to chill. They go out again at least once before bed, sometimes more often. Really easy going. They have toys inside and outside, as well as water bowls. We go for a walk on the weekends or cool evenings with my daughter in the stroller. They have dog friend that come to play often. I have blink security cameras that I can see and talk to the dogs on while I am not there. My dogs stay out around the house when I leave but we do also have two XL kennels incase. We also have baby gates to seperste if someone needs some alone time. We feed our visiting doggos in a separate room to avoid any possible food aggravation but there is always water down 24/7.
