“Dev had a great setup for my wild puppies with options to allow them to get their zoomies out. Deb was an experienced dog owner who was able to be patient with my 5 month old pups. She sent updates at all the right times during our trip when we needed them at times we were missing our fur family. I know they are a handful so I am very grateful for Deb's willingness to take on such a crew even after meeting them.”

“Kari was an awesome selection to board our dog Mickey. She and her family happy and fun people and Mickey loved that. When we picked up Mickey he was a very happy boy. Tired from all of the play with Kari's family and dog. He is all tuckered out which is awesome for him. We will definitely have her to board our little boy in the future.”

“Taylor was a wonderful caretaker for our golden retriever. She kept us informed and sent pictures of his well-being. She was very patient with him even though he had separation issues. We needed a place for our pup since we were spending the night at Omni Homestead nearby. If you find yourself in the same situation, don’t hesitate to contact Taylor.”

“I cannot recommend her enough! She watched Otis for 2 nights and treated him like he was her own. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt completely at ease. She was so kind, communicative, and thoughtful throughout the entire stay. She sent me lots of updates and photos, which meant so much and made being away from my boy so much easier. You could genuinely tell how much love and attention he was getting the whole time. He came home happy, comfortable, and clearly very well cared for. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly loving with animals, she is absolutely the person to book. I would 100% use her again!”

“Casey and her family took exceptional care of my fur baby Scottie. She sent pictures and updates through out his stay. Scottie was in amazing hands and his routines were kept up with (much needed for his age). They even made the sweetest note cards for me at pick up. Drop off and pick up was great. Thank you Casey and family! ♥️”

“Eman is absolutely amazing! She has watched our fur baby, Simmi, multiple times, and every single time has been a fantastic experience. Simmi gets so excited when we’re approaching her house, her tail starts wagging nonstop! It’s clear how much love and care Eman gives her. We feel completely at ease knowing Simmi is in such good hands. Reliable, kind, and attentive and is truly the only one I trust to watch Simmi 💕💕”

“Angel was an amazing dog sitter! She was very flexible with me on drop off and pick up times, and even met us closer so we didn’t have to drive as far. She sent lots of pictures and kept us updated the whole time. Our dog seemed to have had a good time while he was there :)”

“I have so many beautiful things to say about Mary and her family! You can see the love in that house from the start, and she was so understanding about the personal needs of my dog. My dog was a rescue and can be easily intimidated, which makes her a little edgy, but she was given the space and love she needed, and seemed to thrive at their home. She sent photo updates and kept me in the loop the whole time, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the trip I was on. When I got back, my dog didn’t even seem like she was anywhere but home. She was such a happy girl. I’m so so so so grateful I found Mary!! I’ll be taking a trip next month and will definitely use her again. Really can’t say enough about her. Such a positive experience! ❤️”

“Absolutely awesome! Jolene has been awesome to work with and she has been flexible with drop off and pick up times if anything unexpected comes up. She’s so kind and took great care of my pup! I really appreciate her!”

“Excellent care. It was a sudden drop off, my dog was very happy. He was very excited with whole family. I got pictures almost every 1-2 hours. I felt so comfortable. Thank you”

“She was great! Sent us lots of photos! And made sure our pup was happy the whole time!! Her son was also a sweetheart and helped take care as well! Will definitely have our dog stay with them again!”

“I was worried about my cat since her brother had recently passed and I had to leave for a week. Tyler spent time with her to make sure she wasn't too lonely. It was very nice to not have to worry about her while I was away! Most cat sitters do not stay for the 30 min, but Tyler made sure she was well taken care of. :)”

“Chloe took great care of our big, energetic labs. She provided regular updates and handled everything the dogs could throw at her. Terrific sitter and we will gladly have her back!”

About: I’ve always had a pet dog. Our dog is older (10) but she is still energetic and loves other dogs! This will be a family effort to take good care of your beloved pet! I am currently home full time. I already care for our own pet so adding another would be seamless. Your pet is welcome to join my home! I have a backyard for them to run around in. It’s fenced but has some openings. I also have a lead leash for them. I will take good care of your pet - providing what they need and want.
“Taylor & her family were great to my dog for daycare. Taylor responded quickly on only a few days’ notice. She kept in contact with me during the day and kept careful track of everything my dog did. Plus she sent cute pictures!”

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care, companionship and plenty of exercise. I am happy to host dogs from different families if they are friendly, but I am also happy to host your dog(s) alone. Boarders or daycare get at least two to three 30+ min walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths. I am happy to brush the dogs after these walks, if safe and allowed. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. My six year old son is often present for a booking. He is a responsible child who has been taught to be respectful of dogs by giving them space and patience. We have firm rules that he will never climb, poke, tease or infringe on a dog’s personal space. If your booking request ends up being a time that he will be staying with me, then he enjoys participating in meet in greets to ensure everyone is a great fit :) we have yet to meet a dog we didn’t like! I provide treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like me to crate your dog. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors. This allows me to build our bond in neutral space with plenty of positive stimulation for the dogs. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here!
“Crystal did a great job caring for our two dogs Max and Cody. She and her family obviously loved dogs and our two took to her immediately. Her place was great and the dogs were able to spend time outdoors. She gave us a worry free day. Highly recommended.”

“I picked this family to watch Boo for the day while I was in town visiting our daughter for her birthday and am happy I did. Heather and her son did a WONDERFUL job with her! We would definitely recommend them!”

“We were so excited to have Jack with Arie and Leigh as one of our first tries with day care as they are so experienced with dogs in general but especially labs. All went very well, great communication and what a wonderful family and property for Jack to play and even had a furry friend! Will plan to use them again and very much recommend.”

About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.
“Thankful to have found such a great pet sitter to watch my puppy for the day! I knew my pup Arlo was in good hands and he would have a great time. The cute pictures throughout the day were a bonus. It’s so nice to have a reliable, responsible pet sitter who clearly loves and cares about dogs. Thanks, Kaylee!”

“I was desperate to get a dog sitter when we were in town visiting with our daughter and Casey came through for us! The doggies loved her and she wore them out. :) highly recommend!”

About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Allowing them to be where they feel the most comfortable.
About: Hi, My name is Torie. I am a nurse. I grew up on a farm with horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, and of course dogs/cats. I worked at the Virginia Tech Dairy, milking cows and feeding calves, during my time as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. I currently own a horse and I have two dogs. I have a heart for taking care of animals and I have a lot of experience. I have experience with caring for special needs, administering medications, and wound/injury care. I love all animals. I have two acres at my house, it’s not fenced in but I have gps fence collars. I have access to a large farm and river frontage where your dog can be thoroughly exercised with permission. Terms negotiable. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. :) The pets are taken care of before anything else. They will be let out, fed their breakfast, and exercised first thing in the morning. They will be let out or walked every 4 hours or less. I will either leash walk your pet or I do have a gps fence e collar available. My dogs are very friendly and playful. They get along with all dogs from teeny pocket beagles to huge hounds and everything in between.

I am flexible for meet and greets, and boarding drop-off and pick up times. I have a 2 acre, fenced-in dog park with a natural log agility area, a sand circle for wrestling, and large fields for running. I also have a large, fenced-in yard around our house that is used for our canine guests. Dogs stay overnight in our house and are always supervised.
About: Since I was 8 years old I’ve been responsible for all sorts of animal care-dogs, cats, pigeons, you name it. I had two dogs growing up (so I have experience with puppy and senior care) and cared for the pets of my community, so I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats! I also volunteered at a no-kill animal shelter for four years so I’m comfortable caring for any pets with medical needs or trust issues. I’m in medical school, so I spend most of my days studying at home! I love to spend my breaks outside walking through the trails near my home, and there’s plenty of parks close by. I have years of experience with animal care that comes from my own personal past and my time volunteering at an animal shelter. I am willing to accommodate for your pet in order to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Currently, I do not have any other pets in the home so if privacy is needed for your pet, they won’t have to share with a home pet!

Thank you”

“Trooper has been a life saver for us and we will not use anyone else! We have two miniature dachshunds and our youngest one has epilepsy. No dog boarding facilities in town were willing to accommodate his medicine schedule. My sister recommended Roover as a last hope. Trooper was the only sitter with experience”

“Cody was a great listener to my husband and I about our pit/boxer. He is honest and so kind. I knew my Duke was in the best place! I picked him up and it seemed like he would have liked to stay with Cody!”

“We had a great experience with John and his wife. They kept us informed and our dogs clearly had a great time and were well cared for. They have lots of backyard space for our dogs to run which they need.”

About: Welcome to my page! My name is Tracy and I would love to take care of your pet. I grew up taking care of my pets, both cats and dogs, and I currently have a goldendoodle that I absolutely adore! I have also been entrusted to take care of my friend’s pets while they were away. From my experience, I know that no pet is the same. I get to know your pet and learn to care for them in a way that is unique and special to them! I currently work full-time during the week, but am available for boarding on the weekends and most holidays. I am also available evenings and weekends if your pet needs to have a potty break or go on a walk! For visits in your home, I prefer to meet prior to my initial visit to go over instructions and expectations and to have a meet and greet with your pet. For boarding in my home, your pet will be able to have full access to the house or they can be crated if that is what is preferred. I live in a great neighborhood for walking and I also have a screened in porch that is great for napping!
“Kasalyn was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of Addyson and Addyson had a great time. Kasalyn was very kind, made me feel comfortable and eased my mind about leaving my baby. She also send lots of awesome pictures and updates. Thanks for all you did Kasalyn😊”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in preschool. My family has always had lots of pets throughout the house all through my childhood! I have lots of experience in giving baths, medicine, lots of cuddles and care! I will be sending plenty of pictures so you can see what your pet is up to at all times! I am currently working for myself while also working from home. This gives me all the time in the world to be just as attentive as you would be to your fur baby! I currently live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks and open space for walks/jogs. My house is large enough to keep small dogs and larger dogs separated to ensure there are no accidents.
About: I've never lived a day without four-legged family members. My pets, and those I care for, get loving care and happy days! From beautiful walks to comfy accommodations, staying here is a holiday for your dog. Your dog will be provided with a minimum of two long walks a day (or as preferred), along with many garden walks. I work from home, so will be on-site and available. Set on a private 45 acres of rolling farmland, your dog will have the option to go on two 45-minute walks through woods, fields, and streams on our country setting. In addition, they will have the option to stay in the indoor "happy house" and have garden walks throughout the day, or to stay in the large, shaded outdoor pen (depending on your preference). At night your pet will stay in the temperature-controlled indoor room, complete with various beds and furniture. Accommodations are roomy enough to accept two dogs from a single household as long as they can stay together without separation. After romping in the sunshine, they will have a cozy place to get a well-deserved restful sleep.
