“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: Over the years I have worked with many different kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals to exotics. I have always had a passion for animals and grew up taking care of them. I have been working in the animal field since age 16 and currently work as an ER exotic veterinary technician student. I am employed full time, however my job allows me to bring pets into work with me should they need monitoring, time sensitive medications, etc. I am trained to handle both fearful and friendly pets as well as administering medications and monitoring overall health and behavior. About: I have experience not only pet sitting in someone’s home, but also outside of their home. I currently work as a dog bather, so I have experience with animals and handling there too! I am currently working part time, only about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to give that special dog in your life a walk for you when you’re unable! Our yard is partially fenced in (half of it is fenced) and we have another dog in our house. Your dog will primarily stay with me, alone where I can watch them!
