This was our first time leaving our two Shih Tzus overnight and we received regular text messages with pictures and updates, always very personable. Prior to their stay, we visited Lorena upon her request, to make sure the stay would be a good fit. This gave me peace of mind, knowing she has a screening process. I learned about Lorena from two of my neighbors who shared really positive feedback, so I went into this first stay confident. I could see in the pictures that Piper was having fun through what appeared to be a smile on her face! About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and time to relax. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule and any special instructions closely, including medications if needed. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give them lots of attention, affection, and structure, while using my dog training experience to reinforce good behavior and keep interactions positive and safe.

My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
About: i have stayed at houses to watch dogs the most was 3 at a time, i also often watch a small dog once every few months, i have a aussie and Anatolian,so i know how to take care of big dogs as well as small dogs. as and i love taking mine outside for walks or car rides, i also enjoy the inside time as well as playing with them I love to pet sit on the side, I always offer taking off as well to spend as much time as needed with the animal. depending on owner, I will let the dog out whenever is needed.
