About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care, companionship and plenty of exercise. I am happy to host dogs from different families if they are friendly, but I am also happy to host your dog(s) alone. Boarders or daycare get at least two to three 30+ min walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths. I am happy to brush the dogs after these walks, if safe and allowed. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. My six year old son is often present for a booking. He is a responsible child who has been taught to be respectful of dogs by giving them space and patience. We have firm rules that he will never climb, poke, tease or infringe on a dog’s personal space. If your booking request ends up being a time that he will be staying with me, then he enjoys participating in meet in greets to ensure everyone is a great fit :) we have yet to meet a dog we didn’t like! Her home is wonderfully set up for boarding dogs - including a crate space for any pups who need a little time to calm down and a doggie door with a fenced in backyard that the dogs have access to. I felt good leaving my pup with her. We did have an incident arise between our dogs, but she handled it swiftly by communicating with me.”

About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.
“Stacey and her husband were fantastic with Ozzy. He can be a handful at time but she dealt with everything in stride. We were away for over 8 days and felt at ease the entire time. Ozzy also loves to play and her pup was a lot of fun. He really enjoyed her yard and all of the walks as well.”

About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. Growing up I’ve always helped and learned from her how to care for other’s family members as one’s own. In my spare time, I love to hike and I walk everyday. I'd love to have your companion as a sidekick on these adventures. Or even just enjoy a leisurely walk. Coming into one’s home is an act of trust and a privilege. This is not lost on me. I have every intention of respecting the needs and privacy of my clients.
