About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I keep a tracking collar on Tucker and I could see that Colleen was walking him several miles a day - which was awesome! He's a big dog and needs daily exercise. We have been involved with many breeds including Great Danes, Setters, Retrievers, and even Mutt Mixes. We start the day before sunrise to let the dogs out for a run and feed them. Around lunch time the pups are let out to play and exercise some more. We feed animals again around sunset or about 12 hours from their breakfast meal and let them exercise and play. One more outing before we go to bed where we always check in with our "puppy cams" before nodding off to sleep. Your dogs will be exercised multiple times a day on the farm on an adventure that changes based on the weather. In the summer we put a kiddie pool out for them to play in which we keep nice and clean. Some warm days we may take the dogs on a hike to the creek in the summer time where they can run around and have fun, other days it may be an outing around the fenced in areas. Any specific medical needs will be taken care of based on their needs and within our abilities. We will exercise them individually unless we are informed otherwise on their play pals.

I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! About: I walk an Jog everyday. I love dogs a puppies and cats! I also have 3 pet rabbits so if you have a rabbit I can take care of it as well. I have 4 dogs and 4 cats. 2 of my dogs are pure breed German shepherds and 1 is a Golden Shepherd so I’m not scared of big dogs!! About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of rabbits, birds and even a very social ferret. Once I became busy raising my own family, I stopped working FT but continued watching friends’ and neighbors’ animals on the side. I’m the type of person who stops to pet other people’s dogs when I’m out on a walk. ❤️ My husband and I have 5 kids, two of which live at home. I’m also a grandma with a second baby otw! As a family we’ve always had cats and dogs as well as guinea pigs, gerbils, turtle and a lizard. I’m currently working very part-time so have lots of time to love on your animals. About: I have been a pet owner most of my adult life and grew up having dogs and cats. Currently we help take care of friends and families pets while they are away and enjoy it so much!! About: My love of dogs started about 5 years ago when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have acquired a load of knowledge not only in how to care for them, but also how to train them. I can provide mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend and bring most of my own equipment - I can also use the tools your pet is most familiar with. I can assess your pet to determine what your pet may need for stimulation, make suggestions for daily care, and learn at least some of their body language. My dogs and I are always interacting whenever I'm home, but most of our intentional fun/training happens for about 2-3 hours each day outdoors. This includes both training and walking. I also help some of my friends train their dogs whenever our schedules allow. I believe your dog should ALWAYS be in training and you can make almost any situation a training opportunity. Your pets can be treated as my own and/or according to your specific instructions. Do you have multiple dogs that need to be separated? No problem. Can your dogs be together but need to be supervised so tension doesn't continue to build? I got you covered there too! Does your dog pull too much on walks, need to learn how to act in-doors? I can work with your dog on those things as well in addition to other things!
About: Growing up at a dairy farm, I was always surrounded by all kinds of animals. Horses, cows, dogs, etc. I had a love for them all. But it wasn’t until I had my first dog on my own inside the house that I totally understand just how much I really love dogs. I work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All nights. So Monday through Friday I have lots of spare time. From 7 AM Monday until 7 AM on Friday. I do not have a fenced in backyard. So keeping them on the leash is my number one priority. From getting out of the house and into the car. Because I do a lot of hiking with Bella. I also have a good size first aid kit.

About: I’ve lived in a few different houses in my life, all full of pets! Currently I have seven in my home and I apply constant care to 2 of them! I’ve trained all of my dogs over the years to do tricks, and have some fun techniques for it now! I’m always up for elderly animal care as well, as I have lived with and cared for a handful of elderly dogs and cats in my time! I think my nurturing and love for animals sets me apart as well as my experience with so many of these pets! I’m currently a student at Longwood university! About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. Colleen had the perfect setup, large fenced-in back yard and 2 young pups for Tucker to play with :). I keep a tracking collar on Tucker and I could see that Colleen was walking him several miles a day - which was awesome! He's a big dog and needs daily exercise. About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a three-month-old Golden Retriever puppy named Archie, so I’m very familiar with puppy routines, training, potty breaks, and high-energy playtime. I also raised two of my mom's Pomeranians, Flynn and Pepper, from puppyhood and lived with and cared for them daily for years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with both small and large breeds, as well as the patience, consistency, and attention that dogs need to feel safe and comfortable. About: We breed and train Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that are raised for Hunting, Hunt Tests, Obedience, and for conformation(shows). We have been involved with many breeds including Great Danes, Setters, Retrievers, and even Mutt Mixes. We start the day before sunrise to let the dogs out for a run and feed them. Around lunch time the pups are let out to play and exercise some more. We feed animals again around sunset or about 12 hours from their breakfast meal and let them exercise and play. One more outing before we go to bed where we always check in with our "puppy cams" before nodding off to sleep. Your dogs will be exercised multiple times a day on the farm on an adventure that changes based on the weather. In the summer we put a kiddie pool out for them to play in which we keep nice and clean. Some warm days we may take the dogs on a hike to the creek in the summer time where they can run around and have fun, other days it may be an outing around the fenced in areas. Any specific medical needs will be taken care of based on their needs and within our abilities. We will exercise them individually unless we are informed otherwise on their play pals.
