I am reliable and make sure to communicate clearly when a problem arises, or just to send pictures because I know you miss your pet. About: I have had animals since I was very young. I love all types of dogs, and have experience dealing with high energy as well as more relaxed dogs. I also have experience with fostering and rehoming dogs. I work part-time, and set my own hours, so I will have plenty of free time for the dogs! I am open to a set schedule or to flexible, one-off walks and boarding. I live in a log cabin on 10 acres in northern Albemarle county. I have a great field for walks and throwing toys. About: Not only did I grow up with 2-3 dogs in the house, but my mom has worked for a dog rescue the last 10 years. My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. I have helped with everything from feeding, cleaning, creating enrichment, and exercising dogs of all sizes and ages. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. Walking my neighborhood dogs when their owners were away and having 3 dogs of my own. We currently have an Australian Shepherd who is almost 3. We e had him since he was a puppy. I currently work from home so have time to care for your pup. We have a large fenced in yard and walk our dog down the street daily. About: Owner of a 501c3 animal rescue, I’ve worked with all types of critters. I’ve taken classes in wildlife rehabilitation, worked in dog training centers, and been employed in the county of LA handling overflow cases from Animal Control. I recently left my career behind to purchase a farm and dedicate myself full time to animals. Picking up a bit of work during the transition/ relocation to the farm. I own cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, fish, and a rabbit. I have a well practiced routine with my critters, leaving me open to help others with their babies. About: I have been taking care of friends, family members animals for over 2 years now while attending college. I love giving care to their furry friends while they are away. Having animals myself I understand the need to have a trustworthy caretaker while away! I look forward to become your pets new friend! I currently work 30/32 hours a week usually during the early mornings or mid afternoons. I have usually offered early morning walks or evening walks to those in need! Most weekends, along with days I am not doing that, I can set aside time to come see your pets:) I will readily follow whatever instructions you may have. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals. My girls Piper, Ella and Shelby are my world. I love these dogs like they are children. They are spoiled I will admit. I also have taken care of my friends dogs for years while they have been out of town and my house as "Aunt Paige's Doggie Camp" All my dogs I have brought up from puppies. I have house trained them, crate trained them and trained them on the invisible fence for the yard. They always get lots of love and have lots of toys to play with, both inside and outside. I work from home, so I'm always here to take them out and take care of them. My dogs are always outside when it's not too hot or the weather is bad. I live on a quite street which ends in a cul-da-sak. So I will walk them at least 2 times a day The most important thing is they must get along with other dogs. I have a invisible fence in my yard and can certainly put your dog on it if they are trained on one. Otherwise I will go out with them and walk them. If they are well trained and can be lose a return on command they can play in the yard with my girls.

“Heather and her family were fantastic for our dog! He's still got puppy energy and he got to burn plenty of it playing in their big fenced in yard with the other dogs. He was safe, loved on, and played the entire time. We also had horrible traffic coming back in town and Heather was so great. She was flexible and made she we knew that Rio would be ok even if he needed to stay another night. Heather will definitely be our go-to for future boarding's.”

About: I have had animals since I was very young. I love all types of dogs, and have experience dealing with high energy as well as more relaxed dogs. I also have experience with fostering and rehoming dogs. I work part-time, and set my own hours, so I will have plenty of free time for the dogs! I am open to a set schedule or to flexible, one-off walks and boarding. I live in a log cabin on 10 acres in northern Albemarle county. I have a great field for walks and throwing toys. I have a lot of in-home hobbies, so any dog or cat hanging out with me will get a whole lot of attention and love while they are here.
“Kara took fantastic care of our dog Zorro while we were on vacation! She send pictures and updates on daily bases and offer drop off/pick up option that helped us tremendously. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
