About: My husband and I have an 11 year old German short haired pointer and recently lost our 13 year old Wheaten Terrier/King Charles Spaniel mix. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. I work for GCPS from 745-315 so I would be available for afternoon / evening drop-ins / walks and any days that school is closed. I love spending time with dogs and cats, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I work on the Goochland County Public Schools calendar from 745-315 Monday - Friday unless other wise stated on the calendar. I would be available all day on the days school is closed. I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. I treat every dog and client with respect and can provide a very entertaining environment for your furry friend. I am very familiar with giving medications and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I hope to be able to become friends with your pet and give them lots of love and affection! I currently have an open schedule and am available on majority of all the days of the week and am fairly flexible. I can come by and stay over when needed I am willing to provide long walks or take the dog out to walk at a park. I am good about staying on a schedule to be able to provide the best quality care and routine. Your pet will get showered in love and plenty of playtime.

I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. Safe to say animals are my life! After losing a beloved dog who was poorly cared for at a kennel, I became passionate about providing the kind of attentive, loving care that every pet deserves. About: I’ve had animals in my house since I was born! I’ve had dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve even had fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and ferrets. Needless to say, I truly love animals so much (maybe even more than humans). I turn into a full on mom when any animal comes my way. I’ve had experience with taking care and training animals since I was 12. All in all, taking care of your lil ones while you’re away is not just a vacation for you, it’s a vacation for me as well. Expect to come home to healthy, relaxed, and happy lil guys and girls! I’m currently a part time student who is also working part time sooo I have a lot of free time on my hands! I’m available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am currently only accepting boarding in the client’s home due to my own dog’s training. I will care for pets in my client’s home exactly as instructed by them. I will be able to stay with them all day, let them out every hour or so, feed them when scheduled, take them on walks, have play time, and cozy time as well.
