About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and coworkers for about two years, and volunteered at the local pet shelter during high school. I grew up around lots of dogs and cats, I owned a cat growing up who is now 14 years old, and adopted my first dog six years ago! I currently work full time but have the ability to check in on your furry friends in the morning, around noon, and in the evening, in addition to house sitting on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs who can be crated and kept separate from other animals when necessary, and there are multiple rooms in the house in case space is needed.
About: Growing up I always wanted a dog and so one day my father actually brought a friend's dog home for a week stay but we soon found out we would get to keep him. He was a Jack Russell/Terrier Mix and his name was Mumuz. Unfortunately due to old age and many more health complications my parents decided to let him rest in peace. Not too soon before that I decided to adopt a dog of my own. Chief is his name and he's a handsome black lab who's just a sweet gentleman. He's my child and he's the best decision I ever made. So over the years I've learned to take care of dogs mostly and I did cat sit for my neighbor's cat,April, and I would administer insulin for April's diabetes and I would cat sit her next cat who was disabled with only three legs until my neighbor sadly passed away. My love for animals runs deep and I want to help other pet lovers have a reliable sitter that they can trust to watch their child because all animals are really are children. But I am about to start the Spring semester at a local college to earn my associates degree in veterinary medicine and then eventually work at a vet clinic or hospital. So I may be young but my love for animals has never stopped growing. That's why you should choose me because I love animals, working towards the veterinary medicine field, energetic, outgoing, very understanding, and great communication. I do currently work at a private doctors office Monday-Thursday but always willing to drive back and forth and am hoping to use Rover to make a little bit of extra money until I complete my associates degree and get a job in the veterinary medicine field. I generally will ask the client about the pet's food and eating schedule first to make sure of any specifications needed. If the owner has a fence I will mainly be outside playing with the dog(s) to help get out any of that extra energy they may have. If the client permits I love to take the animal on a car ride unless the animal is scared of car rides. If so I would walk to a local park to still get out the extra energy. When getting back to the house fill up the water bowl as soon as possible if not filled already so the dog(s) can be hydrated after a good workout. Finally a little bit of cuddle time to show affection and give comfort to the animal when their owner is not there. And always take potty breaks every 2-3 hours especially right before bed so that the dog(s) can get some rest until they have to go out again.

Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

I accept a maximum of two guest dogs at a time to keep the environment safe and low stress. All guest dogs must be at least one year old, house-trained, fully vaccinated, non-reactive toward other dogs, and most importantly are comfortable around children ages 4 and 7. I do not accept puppies or board cats. Meet-and-greets are required before every first booking to ensure everyone is comfortable and a good match.

About: I am an animal lover and have been for my whole life. I have always had dogs and/or cats. I have experience in giving medication, both orally andinjections. As well as tube feeding fowl. I also have experience in small farm/homestead. Including chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, goats, etc... I would treat your animals like my own. I can also water plants, gather mail, etc... In cases of house sitting for a week or longer (6+ nights), I am happy to travel within 200 miles. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any request. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule to be able to care for your pets when and how they need it. We live on a farm with fields to run through, woods to roam and a pond to swim. I'm available to stay overnight in your home and take care of them in their own environment.
About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: Very loving and passionate about fur babies! We own a personal farm whom we take love and compassion to care for them! I have experience with home pets along with outside pets. i am a very active women who can keep up with any active pet. Looking forward to meeting new lovely fur babies! Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.
About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I grew up around lots of dogs and cats, I owned a cat growing up who is now 14 years old, and adopted my first dog six years ago!
