“My wife and I had the birth of our first child scheduled, and last minute we decided to have someone board our smallest dog Icarus. Within 10 minutes of messaging Scott and Amanda they called me and told me to drop my little buddy off. They took such amazing care of him… Everyday they sent me text messages, pictures, videos; they walked Icarus, their kids played with him, their Lab Walter hung out with him. I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. One the day we were to pickup Icarus my wife and I had to stay at the hospital longer and last minute I asked if they could watch him for 2 more days and they said “no problem at all”. Scott and Amanda are absolutely amazing dog sitters, and they’re even better people.”

About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. About: Hi my name is Joyce and I love working with animals as I have many animals of my own. I have a pup, a baby hamster, a turtle and 2 fish. I love animals and I treat them like they are my children. My skills are walking my pup (this includes a nice walk, and picking up their feces with a plastic bag), bathing them when needed, feeding them and playing with them. About: I’ve got years of experience caring for dogs and cats. My favorite thing to do is take dogs (especially my own) out for adventures by taking advantage of this beautiful state we get to call home. I love to give dogs the best time when they’re with me whether that’s going out or staying in and their safety and comfortability is my top priority. I work part time on Thursday and Friday nights until the end of December. I have a very open schedule until the end of April. I do have a dog and two cats, so it would be best to board at the owners home vs my own, but I am ok with either. I am avid about getting quality outdoor time that goes beyond potty breaks. Clear instructions of your pets exact care requirements/expectations are important to me so that I can make sure your pet is getting their needs met.

As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.

About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.
About: As an animal lovers, I promise to treat your pet like my own. They’ll be in good hands with me for the duration of their stay. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. Every day. I work from home and that makes it easy to adjust our schedule. My dog gets taken out early in the morning and fed. After he then gets taken back out later that morning. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit. Later at night, he’s taken out once more and given a dental treat before bed time.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.
