About: I have been taking care of the animals of close friends and family since I was 19 years old. In addition to taking care of cats and dogs, I am also an experienced farm hand. I have taken care of horses, chickens, donkeys, and Alpacas. Whatever your pet needs are, I can do it. I am currently doing volunteer work on Tuesdays, but am available every other day of the week. Early mornings and afternoons work best for me, but I am available later in the evening when needed I can do feedings, walks, drop ins, and full night stays. I can also administer oral medication. About: I’ve always been around cats when I was younger but I was always afraid of them. But as I got older I learned to truly appreciate them. Less than a year after moving out to attend college I got my own puppy (Havanese). 12 years later I found myself getting a second dog after my parents and a sibling adopted her other 2 sisters (English Cream Golden Retriever puppies). About: I have two dog of my own, a cat and any farm animals. I’ve handle animals age ranging from 15+ to freshly born. I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of my childhood dog and my parents three dogs. I also have a pet cat that I had for two years. I am passionate about exercising the dogs needs such as frequent walks, enrichments, and making sure to sneak in their medicine! She is so kind hearted and made me feel comfortable within minutes of meeting her so I was automatically at ease leaving my dog there - on very short notice by the way (so grateful!). I could tell Loki felt right at home with her family and family dog. He had a big yard to roam, which I’m sure he loved. Matisa sent updates and pictures often which I greatly appreciated. “Erica was so great, I’m solo pet owner and had plans at the last minute, she was so great with Marvel on first visit and my accommodation for extra day. He is smaller so he takes a few minutes to observe before playing with big dogs, but once he gets started he loves play dates all sizes”
“We are so happy we found Laurie to take care of our 12 year old Aussie. After the initial meet and greet she was able to take him in for a few nights while we were on travel at the last minute. Laurie is super friendly and you can tell she really cares for the pets she’s watching. All of the other dogs that she watches were all really friendly as well and we are really grateful that’s he got a lot of playtime in her fenced in back yard. Laurie was also super communicative and sent multiple updates and pictures everyday which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

Our dog is quite skittish, and he did so well during his stay. When we arrived for pick-up, Lewis was just walking around their house like he owned it. For a skittish dog to get that comfortable in 4 days says a lot about how welcoming an environment Rachel was able to provide for our special needs pup.
