Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

“We recently took a vacation with all of our family members who are usually come and take care of our dogs. We have two red Siberian huskies who have never been separated and have always been at home. Anyone who knows about huskies knows they are not easy dogs to say the least. That coupled with the fact that both of them are not fixed. So there’s all the exaggerated attitude and emotion that goes along with that. Our female his passive aggressive and our mail can only be described as a furry angle grinder. We were worried to leave our dogs with anyone. Preferably would like to service closer to Wytheville but will travel in some cases, extra fees will apply depending on distance! Please check your location and the distance between us before you book! I love working with animals! They have the most kind souls of anything on this earth. I currently work a lot with the local rescue groups here in town and also the animal shelter. I have 2 children, 13 and 6. I currently stay at home with my daughter. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies and enjoy their presence! About: I grew up taking care of all different breeds of dogs, and there’s nothing else I’d rather do! I started out caring for my own, then I started caring for my family’s and friend’s pets too. My experience ranges from caring for puppies and senior dogs. I had a 14 year old lab that I had to provide senior care on, from feeding by hand, cleaning her up, and administering medicine. I am working full time at the moment but am more than excited to spend my days off with your fur babies! As of right now I am available most weekends, and nights. I care for my dogs by letting them run around during the day, I have a huge yard with plenty of space. At night my dogs like to sleep in their crate.

About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

We have two red Siberian huskies who have never been separated and have always been at home. Anyone who knows about huskies knows they are not easy dogs to say the least. That coupled with the fact that both of them are not fixed. So there’s all the exaggerated attitude and emotion that goes along with that. Our female his passive aggressive and our mail can only be described as a furry angle grinder. We were worried to leave our dogs with anyone. About: I am a puppy mom of two loveable border collie crosses and one German Shepherd! We have a large front yard for the dogs to run as well as a farm to explore. My husband and I have had dogs all our life, but we got our first together in 2016 and added the second addition September 2017. Our third pup was added in 2025. On the weekends we take hiking trips and would love to have your pup join us on our adventures. I have my own business and work from home, so they would have as many breaks as needed.
