“Eric is the best! I recently had a sitter cancel 6 hours before drop-off -- I thought my vacation was ruined! I immediately put out a Sunday morning last-minute Rover requests for a sitter, with very low expectations that anyone would even respond, much less accept. Within a few minutes, Eric responded and then accepted. He totally saved my vacation! After that, he was extremely communicative, but even better, he was perfect for my highly energetic doggo. He gave long dauly walks and play sessions. I knew that my dog would love having his Bucky as a 24/7 playmate, but I was very concerned that he has cats, since Sheba had never seen a cat before. Since she has a high prey drive, I thought there could be serious problems. Eric, however, seems to have a natural understanding of pets, and he was able to safely introduce Sheba to his cats, and apparently there were no issues. Also, Eric was highly flexible when my return flight was delayed by a day, and quickly agreed to extend the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.”

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.

About: I have a large variety of experience with dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. I have had a myriad of pet-sitting jobs—for friends, family, and strangers! I also worked as a Veterinary Assistant for years when was younger, so I can work with dogs and cats of all mannerisms and at all stages of their lives. I am completely comfortable medicating or attending to any special needs. I work remotely so I will be home to give your pet all the attention they may need any day of the week. Pet care fits very easily in my routine since I have 2 of my own! I live in a townhome and have a small fenced in yard that is good for potty breaks and some outdoor chilling, but there are also plenty of areas around me to walk the dogs. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. Every day. I work from home and that makes it easy to adjust our schedule. My dog gets taken out early in the morning and fed. After he then gets taken back out later that morning. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit.
