They took such amazing care of him… Everyday they sent me text messages, pictures, videos; they walked Icarus, their kids played with him, their Lab Walter hung out with him. I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. One the day we were to pickup Icarus my wife and I had to stay at the hospital longer and last minute I asked if they could watch him for 2 more days and they said “no problem at all”. I now have a 3 year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Nova, and we do everything together. I also have 2 cats Jake & Bailey, and a Leopard Gecko named Leia. About: My family and friends call me the dog whisperer because I instantly form a special bond with every pup that I meet and care for! My current work schedule allows me the flexibility to be available for walks and potty breaks Monday through Friday 10AM- 2PM. The weekends are based on need. For care in my home I have a 10 year old mixed breed peek-a-poo. He gets along very well with other non aggressive male and female dogs. He is can be shy around other dogs but not aggressive. About: "Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend...never owned a dog" I live in a townhouse in Williamsburg with husband, our 1 year old daughter and our puppy, Korben. Dog sitting is a full family experience in our home, both our daughter and puppy love it when we have house guests. In fact our daughter’s first word was “doggie”, so it’s very important that dogs that come into our home do well with children as much as they do well with other dogs. While we don’t have a fenced in yard we make up for it with a walking path in the neighborhood and many other walking trails close by, we generally go on two walks a day, weather permitting. I've been sitting for my friends and family for as long as I can remember. So if your looking for a place where your dog will be well cared for and have a lot of fun in the process, look no further. I have a big backyard for plenty of walking and playing, a quiet neighborhood setting as well for lengthier walks. My senior dog is extremely calm and loves all dogs of all sizes. My young pup is well socialized and energetic to play with your pup for hours. My home will come with approved treats, I currently keep milkbones and dentasticks on hand, I am a rawhide free home due to its choking hazards. I have a work from home job, I am home all day 4 days of the week at minimum. Even on my “off days” I am generally gone no longer than about 4 hours. I have a long rope leash for play, a backyard that isn’t fenced but is more so “closed off” to neighbors. I have sturdy baby gates to section off my home to give dogs space for “alone” time away from my dogs if they need it.

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life, really. However, I have only been pet/ house sitting since I was 15 and old enough to drive myself. I am currently a full time vet assistant working at the local humane society, with 5 years of experience working at a vet clinic as an assistant. I am able to identify lameness/illness in dogs and cats and am able to administer all meds including subcutaneous fluids and insulin. I’m currently working full time at the animal shelter. My work day usually starts at 8am and ends around 3 - 4pm. It is very easy for me to “sneak” away from work and go on a quick break to let your fur babies out during any down time I have at work! As we are a humane society, everyone understands the importance of pets getting their potty breaks during the work day! I will make sure your pets have plenty of water and food to keep them happy. The first thing I do when I get to the home is let the animals out to stretch their legs and go potty. If needed, I am willing to walk the dog(s) on a leash outside to use the bathroom. Along with that, I will check the house for any accidents and gladly clean them up. As I have stated before, I am quick to realize if something is off with your fur babies, such as illness or lameness. I am a frequent flyer at the local veterinary clinics and emergency clinics nearby (thanks to working at the humane society lol), so that may help ease your mind a bit while you are away!

Within 10 minutes of messaging Scott and Amanda they called me and told me to drop my little buddy off. They took such amazing care of him… Everyday they sent me text messages, pictures, videos; they walked Icarus, their kids played with him, their Lab Walter hung out with him. I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. One the day we were to pickup Icarus my wife and I had to stay at the hospital longer and last minute I asked if they could watch him for 2 more days and they said “no problem at all”. Scott and Amanda are absolutely amazing dog sitters, and they’re even better people.”

“Awesome and Pleasant Military orientated Couple!!! My sweat Venus greated me very cheerfully when I picked her up! These couple are very involved and cared for my furry baby as their Owen. Was updated with pictures in the morning and evenings plus videos daily. Daily they would have a to two miles of hiking. Katherine would update me with their daily significant adventure like I was reading a story book and help me to stay closer when I’m at a distance. A peaceful and safe wide open neighborhood! Highly trust my girl with them in the near future in my future TAD.”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures.
