About: I have been caring for cats my entire life and have pretty much seen it all. Behavioral challenges, multi-cat dynamics, chronic conditions, oral medications, working with cat behavioralists. Thirty years of the real stuff. I have a particular soft spot for senior cats. I understand their needs, I am patient with their quirks, and I take their comfort seriously. I also know exactly how you feel when you are trying to figure out what to do with your cat while you are away. I have asked myself the same questions. Boarding feels wrong and they come home with upper respiratory infections. Leaving them alone also doesn't feel great. What cats really need is to stay home, in their space, with someone who actually gets them dropping in to give them some care. That is what I try to be. I am sensitive to how stressed cats can get when their people are gone, and I am equally aware that a stranger coming in can add to that. I go at their pace. I read the room and animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. Your cat will be safe, comfortable, and loved while you are gone. And I will make sure you get plenty of happy pictures to smile at while you are away.

About: I have been taking care of and walking dogs of all kinds since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and understand the responsibility of caring for an adult dog and a puppy. I have also worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility, as well as a local dog trainer where I was responsible for feeding, medicating, exercising, and playing with dogs of all sizes and ages. I take my job seriously and will care for your pet like it is my own! I'm working full time currently so I am not available for mid-day drop ins, but would love to spend extra time in the morning and evening with your pet! About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any size and age. My neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for many years to watch over their pets. From dogs, cats, and even horses, I have kept animals safe and happy. During visits I can take pets on walks, play with them, administer medicine, and provide proper clean up! About: I have always loved animals since I was a little girl, and I am always looking for ways to spend more time with them in my freetime. I am a college student home for the summer available 7 days a week! I have a job during the day from about 10am 4 pm, but can visit before and after and during the late nights. I spend a lot of time with my dog Reese, and would always respect the homes of my clients and make sure they are comfortable.
About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
