About: I’ve owned many dogs over my lifetime. From a Min Pin to Collies, Retrievers and Pointers. I have taken care of friends and relatives animals while they were out of town. I have done long time sits (several weeks) to daily drop ins. I’m retired so I have lots of time to care for your pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. Walking my neighborhood dogs when their owners were away and having 3 dogs of my own. We currently have an Australian Shepherd who is almost 3. About: I’ve been walking dogs and doing check ins for family pets since middle school! I am currently a pre-vet student at JMU, but I spend my summers home in Earlysville. I would say this has been a “serious” job of mine since I started highschool. I’ve spent a few days a week for the past few summers pet sitting. I’m new to the app because I’ve been so lucky to have a lot of regular clients, and was then recommended to their friends. I’m just trying to expand my client pool as much as possible:) I have 3 dogs of my own, and one of them lives with me in my college apartment. I’ve had dogs all my life, but I also currently shadow at a vets office, work with the animal health team at the RHSPCA, and volunteer at the VA wildlife center. I absolutely love all animals and would be thrilled to meet new furry friends! I will be shadowing at the vet 3 days a week, but only until 1pm. On those days I am free in the afternoon to check on your pets! Most weekends, along with days I am not doing that, I can set aside time to come see your pets:) I will readily follow whatever instructions you may have. I am used to taking dogs on walks, but also fine with just letting them out in your yard and chilling on the couch. Whatever you and your pet need, I’m sure we can make it work:)

About: When I was younger I took care of dogs for a few different people and later on helped take of my families pet cat for around two years. I’m currently unemployed and saving for college so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. I’m open to most hours and am available any day of the week. When I had my families cat I’d make sure any food he couldn’t eat didn’t drop on the floor and I’d make sure he had clean water/clean food. I’d brush him and stuff like that. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

She provided regular updates w/pictures and even gave us a homemade holiday treat at pick up. We appreciate her prompt responses, welcoming atmosphere and safe environment. She helped take a lot of the stress out of holiday travel.”
