About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both large and small. During that time, I’ve cared for puppies, rescue dogs that have been adopted, foster dogs for a short term, and dogs with special considerations: including lower half paralysis and deafness. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. “Heather did a wonderful job sitting for my dogs!! I’ve never boarded my 3 1/2 year old standard poodle (Charlie) and I was having severe separation anxiety. Heather sent multiple photos every day and commented on how they were doing and how much they ate at breakfast and dinner. My dogs looked like they were on vacation and I swear, in one of the photos it looks like Charlie is smiling as he’s leaping through the air! They slept like babies once we got home. I’m excited that I have found a sitter who I can trust with my pups and I feel comfortable leaving them overnight now. I highly recommend Heather as she provides the same quality of care, fun outside time and love that I provide for my pups.”
“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both large and small. During that time, I’ve cared for puppies, rescue dogs that have been adopted, foster dogs for a short term, and dogs with special considerations: including lower half paralysis and deafness. I love being able to play with dogs whether it be a game of fetch or a wrestle session in the living room. I also like taking dogs for walks and letting them explore with their noses. I’m a full time remote worker with a pretty flexible schedule and very limited travel, so I am around the area consistently. Whether it be an early morning walks or multiple romps around the backyard, I’m always game to keep your dog active. I will provide the best care for pets visiting my home and when I am in their space. I like to get on the dog’s level and let them know I’m a friend before we go for a walk or start playing.
