About: I have always had a dog since I was a baby. I love all animals! Friends and family have always asked me to dog sit while away on vacation. I currently work full time from home so I can watch them during the week day in my home and let out for potty breaks often! I can go to your home on weekends anytime and during the week after 4 pm. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love fur friends! And we have one girl who only loves her fur siblings but she keeps to herself and I will keep her separated from your animal. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. I strive to provide a stress-free, comforting environment while you are away so please let me know what your pup loves the most! What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding with a prior meet and greet* if your dog gets along with the two dogs in our home. Your pup will never be left alone with my dogs when I’m providing doggy day care or boarding, so I do require them to be crate-trained for overnight stays. About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. “Hillary and her family are amazing! We live about 40 minutes away, but as soon as we got there, we immediately felt like their land was a perfect place for dogs to play. So, it was worth the drive! Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! Daisy basically got a vacation while we were gone. Haha. Thank you, Hillary! We really appreciate you!”
