About: Hello all! I’d love to help you with your pet care needs. I have had pets most of my life, and am the current owner of a 3 year old chihuahua mix, and an 12 year old chocolate point siamese. I started using Rover over the summer a few years ago and have had so many amazing clients! It has also been a great experience when it comes to socializing my young pup. Before using Rover, I took care of family members pets and would find my own boarding, dog walking and drop in clients. I currently do pet sitting in addition to my full time job. I work for a high school so I get plenty of dates off including winter, spring and summer breaks. During these times I’d be home full time. Otherwise, Monday-Friday I care for the dogs when I wake up, go to work, come home and continue their care. That’s pretty much all I do. I have a fenced yard that gives my boarders (as well as my pup) plenty of room to run and play! Boarders stay on the main level of my house and are allowed on furniture, unless discouraged by owners. You are more than welcome to bring anything you think would make your pet more comfortable during their stay (ex. Beds, crates, favor toys or treats). If you crate your dog/s at night or while no one is home, I will do the same. I work full time but can balance your pets needs with my schedule. They will have a morning routine of going outside to potty and eating before I head to work. I often leave a tv on for them and I also have cameras to keep an eye on them while away. When I return home, they will have free roam from being inside to going out to the fenced yard to play and explore whenever they would like. I’ll feed again in the evenings (based on your feeding instruction of course) and eventually tuck them in for bed. :) For boarding, your pet will have access to my fenced in backyard where they can play and explore. When I’m away from the house, I can crate your pet upon your request. I leave it up to the owner! Your pet will be boarded on my main level. I NEVER leave pets outside and unattended while away from the house.

I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! I am currently available all throughout June and July. August 3rd I will be unavailable because I start a nanny job that will be full time. I am just looking for specifically summer hours in June and July. I will help feed, get into crate, or “space”, if needed train, and go for walks with the dog. I will help in anyway I can.

All dogs are cared for all day with multiple opportunities to play outside, go on walks around our 5 acres and play with other dogs depending on temperament. Dogs will receive multiple break times throughout the day, averaging every hour to 2 hours and can spend as much time outside as they would like with a fully fenced in dog specific area. Pictures will be sent each night of boarding around 7pm and once per day of day care. 30 mins of structured exercise daily is included in all boarding and we strive to make your dogs feel right at home. I have a full fenced in dog specific area that directly connects to my basement setup where dogs will have the ability to spend time out of kennels and play with other well mannered dogs if you would like. I am available any day of the week with a few days notice and around most holidays as we do not travel for most throughout the year.
