About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size since I was born. I was an infant cuddling with our massive doberman! My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. I also ran on Harrisonburg Rescue Squad as an EMT for about 2 years, which has taught me excellent hard and soft skills in the case of an emergency. I’m working part time right now, so I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your lovely pooches (or other animals)! I mostly work nights on the weekends, but am able to adapt my schedule, if needed. :) I absolutely respect a given owner’s rules for their pets. About: I've always had a love for animals and love working with them! I've grown up with dogs and love to be around them. About: Hello all! I’d love to help you with your pet care needs. I have had pets most of my life, and am the current owner of a 3 year old chihuahua mix, and an 12 year old chocolate point siamese. I started using Rover over the summer a few years ago and have had so many amazing clients! It has also been a great experience when it comes to socializing my young pup. Before using Rover, I took care of family members pets and would find my own boarding, dog walking and drop in clients. I currently do pet sitting in addition to my full time job. I work for a high school so I get plenty of dates off including winter, spring and summer breaks. During these times I’d be home full time. Otherwise, Monday-Friday I care for the dogs when I wake up, go to work, come home and continue their care. That’s pretty much all I do. I have a fenced yard that gives my boarders (as well as my pup) plenty of room to run and play! Boarders stay on the main level of my house and are allowed on furniture, unless discouraged by owners. You are more than welcome to bring anything you think would make your pet more comfortable during their stay (ex. Beds, crates, favor toys or treats). If you crate your dog/s at night or while no one is home, I will do the same. I work full time but can balance your pets needs with my schedule. They will have a morning routine of going outside to potty and eating before I head to work. I often leave a tv on for them and I also have cameras to keep an eye on them while away. When I return home, they will have free roam from being inside to going out to the fenced yard to play and explore whenever they would like. I’ll feed again in the evenings (based on your feeding instruction of course) and eventually tuck them in for bed. :) For boarding, your pet will have access to my fenced in backyard where they can play and explore. When I’m away from the house, I can crate your pet upon your request. I leave it up to the owner! Your pet will be boarded on my main level. I NEVER leave pets outside and unattended while away from the house.

I enjoy long walks with my pups and lots of play time! On the weekends, I enjoy taking my dogs on long hikes, taking them to the dog park for some play time and even runs on the beach. My huskies are friendly with dogs their size and love making new friends. They also have spent time around cats and although they avoid playing, they do love other furry friends. My energetic attitude and love for animals makes me the best match for the job.

I have loved animals since I was young, and I volunteered for a pet shelter in the summer when I was younger. Although I am currently a cat owner, I love all furry animals and I have to greet every dog I meet on the road. I am looking for part time work and this would be a great opportunity to utilize my free time and my love for canines and kitties. I have three cats that are basically like my children, but I adore dogs and would love the opportunity to interact with them daily or weekly. I have free time on my work from home days as well as weekends to assist other dog/cat owners. I do not have a fenced yard, but I live in a community that has a lot of pathways and green space. Within my apartment, I can keep my cats separate if needed but happy to let the dogs explore and get comfy in my space. I am very courteous of other people's space and preferences.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sorts. I grew up with small, medium, and large dogs as well as indoor and outdoor cats. I’ve also grown up caring for animals from a variety of backgrounds- fosters, rescues, you name it. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size since I was born. I was an infant cuddling with our massive doberman! My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. I also ran on Harrisonburg Rescue Squad as an EMT for about 2 years, which has taught me excellent hard and soft skills in the case of an emergency. I’m working part time right now, so I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your lovely pooches (or other animals)! I mostly work nights on the weekends, but am able to adapt my schedule, if needed. :) I absolutely respect a given owner’s rules for their pets. In my own home, we raised our pit bull to listen and be intentional, and he is an amazing boy. In my client’s homes, I will treat their animals with the utmost respect, while enforcing the necessary house rules.
