After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

I moved to North Carolina from Virginia in 2019 when my husband’s military service brought us here. Since then, I’ve been pet sitting full time while completing my college studies. At home, we share our lives with our dog and two cats, who inspire me every day to provide loving, dependable care for all pets. I’ve spent my life around animals and have worked professionally in nearly every area of pet care, including animal hospitals, boarding facilities, grooming salons, and in-home pet sitting. These experiences allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages and temperaments, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets. Including administering medications and providing extra support for pets with medical or behavioral needs. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to hamsters, bunnies, reptiles, chickens, goats, and horses. If I haven’t worked with a species yet, I’m always eager to learn. I am very flexible and able to provide your pets lots of quality time. 30 Minute Drop in: This is a quick visit to check in on your pet. I’ll let them out for a potty break, refresh food and water, give any needed meds or treats, and spend time playing or cuddling. I’ll send you photos and updates along the way. Perfect for a midday break or some company while you’re away. Overnight Stay: Your pet will have company and care throughout the night. I’ll follow your evening routine with dinner, a potty break, any meds, playtime, then stay overnight for supervision and comfort. In the morning, I’ll handle breakfast, another potty break, and fresh water, while keeping you updated with photos and messages. Light home care, like checking mail or plants, can also be included. Ideal for pets who need extra comfort and prefer staying in their own home. When caring for others pets I treat them as my own. Whatever your pet needs, I'll happily accommodate them to the best of my ability. I always triple check doors are locked when I leave, and that there is nothing in reach that could be harmful to your pets. (human food, dog treats, toys etc)
About: I’ve dog sat for many clients before not in the Rover app. I enjoy being able to take the animals on walks and playing with them! I’m very kind to animals and love meeting different breeds! I have a dog and 4 cats of my own, so I’m very much used to taking care of animals! Most of my cats are indoors but I do have a dog that I take on walks. I’m currently looking for a full time job to replace my current job. I am a senior in college but do it all online so I am very flexible. I always try to make a pet feel as comfortable as possible around me. I’m not an overly hyper person so I wouldn’t make them nervous in that way. I usually come in, sit down, and let them get used to me and make sure they’re okay to get around me.

While I had to make few slight adjustments to our travel plans, Larissa was still very accommodating. She kept in constant touch during our time away; providing us with continuous updates as to how our puppy’s day was going. It appears that our pup took well to her, her son, and her Frenchie Louie which let us know right away that we had made the right choice! I think our pup was even a bit sad when it was time for him to leave. We will definitely reconsider booking Larissa again whenever we travel, and we are even considering her for possible doggy daycare services!”

“They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”

Chris was responsive to my messages and even sent picture updates completely unprompted. I was never left wondering how my pup was doing because Chris went out of his way to constantly update me. After seeing the property Chris resides on, I was comforted to know that my dog would have plenty of room to run around and get his energy out. Chris’s own dogs were friendly and very excited to meet a new friend which I viewed as a great opportunity for my own dog to increase his socialization skills.
