“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. About: I have always had a dog since I was a baby. I love all animals! Friends and family have always asked me to dog sit while away on vacation. I currently work full time from home so I can watch them during the week day in my home and let out for potty breaks often! I can go to your home on weekends anytime and during the week after 4 pm. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love fur friends! And we have one girl who only loves her fur siblings but she keeps to herself and I will keep her separated from your animal. I have 42 acres to take your dog on long walks and play in our field. I will leash walk your dog at my house. We do let our dogs sleep in our bed so if your fur baby is used to that they are more then welcomed to sleep in our bed. If not we have an extra crate for night time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I helped my childhood dog with her liter and one of her puppies was my best friend until he crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. I currently have a sweet loving 9 year old black lab and a fun 3 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. Anything after 6 pm I won’t be able to do considering I will be doing bedtime. I have a fully fenced in lot that has 2 dog houses and grass that is also shaded. I also have a crate and normally I am home and just let my dogs play as much as they want.

Dani was the person home, and she was so warm and friendly and knows a ton about dogs. Even though my baby had an atypical reactive moment when she first met her puppy playmate, Dani wasn’t phased at all, and coached me on how to proceed. “That’s very normal,” she said, and within 30 seconds - 1 minute, Makkachin realized she had a friend and was her usual friendly, playful self! The had a BLAST running around their expansive backyard with her nee puppy friend, and Dani was very attentive. I am currently the only sitter in the western area of VA that is certified through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council, a 3rd party certification. This means they do not offer any classes or teaching, but only offer the test, which costs around $400. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. Currently I have a pug, Pixie. I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, turtles and cats before. Currently I work part time and have lots of extra time for walks. I am very flexible with changes if you need to add more visitis. I offer visits to your home, 30 minute and 60 minute walks, and transportation services. I treat you fur baby as my own and give them lots of attention.
About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

About: I have grown up around all kinds of dogs all of my life. Dogs who are scared of everyone, love everyone they all hold a special place in my heart. I have always wanted to do this ! I am a stay at home mom with two dogs of my own, so I really have a very open Monday-Friday Schedule and I am open to discussing weekends! I will treat them just like they are mine, and mine are spoiled to a core. All dogs are special and deserve to know they are loved.
