“Kaiser has been to Connie’s a few times for day care. On the 13th we dropped him off for 13 days of boarding. As soon as he realized we were going to her house his tail started wagging and once we got there he couldn’t go in her house fast enough, he nearly yanked her arm off out excitement and. Not going to lie, leaving my fur baby for such a long time to go on vacation, was hard. Connie was very understanding of the helicopter doggy mom that I am. She sent me pictures of him every day and answer my texts as well. As a bonus, Kaiser made a bunch of new friends and Connie took the best Christmas pictures of him. Kaiser will definitely be going back.”

I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! About: We LOVE dogs! My husband and I are experienced dog owners and caretakers, with experience spanning 15-20 years between the both of us. We will love your furbaby like they’re our own and they’ll leave our care happy and tired. We currently have two loves of our own named Butters (7 year old chocolate lab) and Poppy (1 year old foxhound mix) so we know how to handle dogs of all sizes. We have a large fenced in rear yard for playtime and a wonderful neighborhood to walk in. We are also centrally located in Fredericksburg so if your pup needs to go anywhere, we’ve got you covered! I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️

I have experience administering medications, monitoring for changes in behavior, and providing attentive care to pets who may be anxious or require special handling. I’m currently working at a local veterinary clinic part-time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am free every day of the week for walks and drop-by sitting, and my timing is flexible each day depending on what your needs are! I will monitor your pets in your home and ensure that they stay within my sight and are not getting into anything they shouldn't be. When they are outside, I will either take them out on a leash if your yard is not fenced, or keep watch on them while they are in a fenced-in yard. On walks, I will use whatever accessories you suggest for your dog, whether that be a harness, collar, etc. I will bring water with me for any extended walks, and be sure to monitor them for any signs of fatigue especially in our hot weather. I am very flexible and can provide many different kinds of care tailored to your pet!

We live in a secluded area with a large yard which your pets will enjoy. I'm an IT professional and my wife stays home so there is always someone looking after your pets. We'll take the stress away from you while you are away from your pets by treating them like our own. I work full time but my wife Sherry is home all day. We are a team a she will look after the pets during the day and we both will take care of them at night. We currently don't have any dogs since we recently lost our little old man Monty. We have one indoor/outdoor cat named Creature which is very friendly. We have a large back yard which is not fenced but we can take them out on a leash or tie them up on a lead an supervise them. Our property is secluded and is not close to a road so, there is no danger from traffic.
