“Sonja and Phil did an excellent job looking after our fur babies and we will certainly be repeat customers. They shared multiple pics and updates daily, which set my mind at ease as I am always anxious about boarding them.”

“Lovely house and neighborhood. Great yard. Very kind and gentle with my dog. Followed care instructions. Great communication and sent pictures while I was away. Highly recommend”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this wonderful couple. They took amazing care of my dog, Liara, at their farm, providing a safe, loving, and spacious environment surrounded by farm animals, which made her stay even more enriching. It was clear from the start that they genuinely care about the animals they look after. What truly stood out was their kindness and flexibility when my travel plans unexpectedly changed. When my flight got cancelled, they didn’t hesitate to continue caring for Liara, going above and beyond to help me during a stressful situation. That level of understanding and commitment is rare and deeply appreciated. I’m incredibly grateful for their care, communication, and generosity. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate dog sitters—I will absolutely be reaching out to them again in the future.”

“Lorena takes excellent care of the dogs. They get lots of love and exercise. We get photos and updates on a regular basis which is reassuring to us. Lorena has proven to be our dogs’ “home away from home.””

“Kathryn did an excellent job watching our beagle. She posted updates daily and took her on daily walks. We will use her again in the future. Thanks for taking care of her.”

“Amber did an exceptional job with Piper. She was able to calm her and bring out the best in my baby! I will call on Amber again. I received texts and pictures at least twice daily. I missed Piper but I could tell she was well taken care of.”

“Heather is the absolute best! She’s also very communicative and will make sure your pup feels right at home. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a rover in the Fredericksburg area!! She also sends loads of cute pics, which I very much appreciate”

“We contacted Kelsi at the last minute to ask if she could watch our dog and she responded immediately with a yes. She asked if there was anything our dog could not have which was very thoughtful. As soon as we got to her house, our dog immediately loved her and started playing with her dog. She sent us pics to show us how much fun she was having. Our dog played so hard, she was exhausted when we picked her up the next day. She has slept all day which means she had a fun time. Definitely will be using again.”

“I booked Chris to watch over my disabled pup while I was away for a week. Not only is Chris a wonderful, kind, and polite person but he was also attentive to my boy’s every need. Chris maintained the strict schedule I gave him including daily medications and ample playtime to ensure my dog was happy and healthy while he was away from my care. Chris was responsive to my messages and even sent picture updates completely unprompted. I was never left wondering how my pup was doing because Chris went out of his way to constantly update me. After seeing the property Chris resides on, I was comforted to know that my dog would have plenty of room to run around and get his energy out. Chris’s own dogs were friendly and very excited to meet a new friend which I viewed as a great opportunity for my own dog to increase his socialization skills. I’ll be the first to tell you that I am extremely wary of who I allow to care for my boy and I can say, without hesitation, that I was impressed with the intention and gentleness Chris gave my pup. I will certainly be booking with him again!”

“I can't express enough how grateful I am for the wonderful care River receives at his home away from home. From the very first visit, it was clear that River was going to be treated like family. Their warm and welcoming environment makes every stay a delight. They go above and beyond to ensure River feels comfortable and loved. Whether it's engaging him in playtime, providing treats, or simply showering him with affection, their dedication shines through. I love receiving updates and pictures, which reassure me that he’s having a fantastic time. Knowing that River is in such capable hands allows me to relax and enjoy my time away. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy home for their pets. Thank you for everything you do for River! 🐕 ♥️”

“After multiple bad experiences with other dog sitters, finding Connie was a huge relief. Connie allowed us to come over for a meet and greet weeks before our trip, answered all our questions and left us feeling reassured about leaving our baby. During the trip Connie sent us pictures and videos each day. She even sent the sweetest Christmas portraits and made handmade paw ornaments. Buddy had a blast and was exhausted when we brought him home! We will be using Connie from here on out.”

Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give them lots of attention, affection, and structure, while using my dog training experience to reinforce good behavior and keep interactions positive and safe.
About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I give updates often and will have plenty of photos to share with you! My dogs are super friendly to all animals as they lived on a farm before. I’m hoping to help families while providing for mine:) Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I own my own business and work for myself, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize animals throughout the day. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.
About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Since I’m not working right now, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m happy to help however I can! In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. I make sure they get plenty of attention and care!
