The setting is better than his last daycare which was too big and he was getting overly anxious. Karlie cares for another dog and has two of her own plus a cat so the place is calmer than the last one. Karlie and her family are all very nice and seem to like having Jimmy there. I will take him back whenever I require daycare for him. I just wish I was not moving out of the area soon and will no longer be able to take him there. At least we found Karlie at the end of our time in Vinton.”

About: I grew up dog-sitting for friends and family in addition to caring for my family dog, Abby. I have experience raising and training two puppies, and I worked at a dog boarding facility in Colorado for several months. I moved to Roanoke in mid-September and am currently dog sitting full-time until I secure a full-time job. Until then, I'm essentially available 24/7 for sitting, walks, or drop-in visits! About: I have helped train and care for my own dogs since I was 8 years old. I have house sat, done drop in visits and walked dogs for neighbors and friends. Dogs always make me smile and I have done a lot of reading/research on how to train/care for your dog. I am a student so there is a lot of time in my day to care for dogs. About: I have been dog sitting since my freshman year of high school to raise money for a school trip to Costa Rica that I attended in 2023. I am currently available anytime of the week. I am willing to stay overnight if needed. Or even stopping by to walk/let out the pets. “Best. Sitter. EVER. I've tried and been happy (or not) with many boarders, but Jody goes way above and beyond. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”
