About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! “We could not have found a more loving and caring person to watch our Twinkle. Jessie went above and beyond making sure Twinkle felt confortable from day one. We met with her prior to our trip so Twinkle would be comfortable with her and her family as well as the house. When we dropped her she felt right at home. Jessie sent us updates and many pictures of Twinkle during her stay and we knew she was getting all the love and care she needed. Twinkle had a tumor removed a couple weeks before our trip and Jessie even did us the favor of talking her to the vet to get her bandage changed and took good care of her foot. Twinkle was so happy there that when I went to pick her up she was in no hurry to go home and went back to her bed! Your dog will be very happy in Jessie’s care. She also only takes a max of 2 dogs so your dog will be getting all the needed attention. We will definitely have Jessie watch Twinkle on our next trip or when we leave for a long day! About: Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until recently, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away in July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. These four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and (unopened) toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently being considered for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first job ever, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which will conflict with petsitting until I find a decent balance. More info will come when I get the job! 😄 Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Provided collar and leashes would be appreciated! We have a room designated for crates in case of emergencies, and will not hesitate to use them in the unlikely circumstance that we need them. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. “Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!
About: I've consistently had at least one cat and dog in my household at all times, if not two! I took Small Animal Care 1&2 in high-school. Durring summer breaks I went to horse camp where we learned how to safely handle, ride, and groom horses. I occasionally take care of my neighbors chickens when they go on vacation. I approach each visit with a safety-first mindset, taking care to secure doors, gates, and feeding areas, and to follow all instructions exactly as given. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior or environment and respond calmly and responsibly if anything seems out of the ordinary. I understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home, and I treat that responsibility with respect and professionalism. My goal is to provide a steady, reliable presence so pets remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and owners can feel confident knowing their home and animals are in careful hands.

A loving family and Dexter loved the dogs and attention. Andrea sent me videos and updates. She also gave him a bath and cut his nails. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!!!”

“We were in a bind since the dog kennel was booked. River app came in handy to find someone to watch our dogs. Aside from watching two mini- doxies for a day and a half, our dogs benefited from being around new people and new environment to help them socialize more. At first I wasn’t sure how they would do in a strangers home but they seemed very entertained and taken care of. Tiffany sent us photo updates as well which was nice to get.”
