My previous dog, a Yorkie, gave me experience caring for a senior pet, including administering eye drops, following medication schedules, and managing a special diet. About: I am a retired military vet i served in the Army for twenty one years. I have cared for dogs my entire life. No matter what size the dog is I can handle them. They call me the dog whisperer. Most times people ask me what did I do to make the dog relax. I have a really soft caring voice, that is very tusting I will care for cats but I don't have as much experience with cats as I do with dogs. I will also care for other animals if needed I also have knowledge to house train puppies. I am fully aware of how to treat a older dogs with medical issues. Bottom line leaving your dog with me is like leaving them with family I work part time. I don't work weekends or holidays. I will have more than enough time with your fur baby. I'm home most days. About: I have two dogs of my own one of which I trained to be my personal service dog. My second dog we originally were fostering and we adopted her because she fit into our family perfectly and became our other pups best friend. I actively foster puppies and kittens. I’ve done crate training and all the potty scaries with puppies. I’m extremely patient with them and try to meet each dog where they are at. I have experience giving medications to pets as one of my cats has to have daily oral medication. I love my pets and would treat yours as if they were my own 🖤 I have a very flexible schedule and I’m on the road and I have free time during the day and evenings where I am able to fit pet care-sitting into my schedule. His name is Maverick! He's 2 and such a loving, happy dude! I currently dog sit my mom's 3 Boston Terriors whenever she needs to go out of town and have been since I was a teenager. I also take in my best friend's older pit bull, Cookie, and her and Maverick get along wonderfully! There's plenty of space to walk dogs around my apartment community, along with a fenced in tennis court area where they can run free! I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! I live in an apartment but it's very dog friendly! I will ensure your dog gets lots of attention and love! I have access to lots of trails, open pet areas, and a fenced in tennis court where they can run free and we can play fetch! My dog is very friendly and has lots of experience around other dogs. I do have a large dog crate if that is required or necessary.

About: I’ve been around animals as long as I’ve been alive and have had pets in my home forever. My mother is a veterinarian and I’ve been working as a kennel assistant at a vet clinic since I was 18 years old. I love working with all animals and I’ve worked with all types. So I’m very experienced and have seen it all. Fear free handling certified I just graduated from VCU and just retired as a reserve in the US Marine Corps. My schedule is very flexible and I’m generally easily reachable. I typically let the dog out in a fenced yard or take them on walks. Feed and clean there environment or messes all with love.

“Cooley's first time being away from home was the best experience ever thanks to Candace. Candace took him in and treated him like he was her own. Arwin, Candace's dog and Cooley got along so well together and normally he doesn't do well with other dogs. I would definitely recommend her for your dog sitting needs.
