“Trooper helped us out by boarding our recently adopted Shih Tzu Stanley over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our new fur baby came to us with somewhat severe behavioral issues and was not ready for a large get together with kids so we reluctantly decided to board him during our travels. After connecting with Trooper, we had every confidence that Stanley's aggressiveness would not be problematic during his stay, and were so pleased with how well he was cared for. We received updates and pictures and were so relieved he received a safe, warm and friendly place to stay. Trooper has a huge dog-friendly compound where his dogs and those who he boards have plenty of room for running and playing, and a fantastic heated kennel house where the dogs are safe and protected from the elements. We provided all of Stanley's food, treats and creature comforts so he would feel more at home, and he was in very good spirits when we came to retrieve him. We would definitely trust Trooper with Stanley or or other senior Shih Tzu in the future. Highly recommend!!!”

I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. Your companion will get several walks per day on the trails, varying in length from 1 to 5 miles at a time depending on your dogs energy level and tolerance. About: I’ve always had a pet dog. Our dog is older (10) but she is still energetic and loves other dogs! This will be a family effort to take good care of your beloved pet! I am currently home full time. I already care for our own pet so adding another would be seamless. Your pet is welcome to join my home! I have a backyard for them to run around in. It’s fenced but has some openings. I also have a lead leash for them. I will take good care of your pet - providing what they need and want.
About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Your pup would be right there along with us, relaxing and getting all kinds of love. I am a traveling dog photographer, and if I'm home I rarely leave as I travel enough when working haha! I offer overnight stays in my home specifically for: Elderly pups and pups of all ages with special needs (Under 40lbs) who would not do well in a boarding facility. Your pups would be the center of attention in the house while they were here. We do have cats in the house, so please let us know if your pup has any issues with smaller animals. If so, we can still accommodate them, we would just have them in our dog-only area! I have a 'dog room' at home with a couch for relaxing and reading or gaming/watching Disney+ on our large screen TV, an echo dot that will play calming classical music while I am out of the room, and a padded floor with lots of rugs around for the older pups. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. My work schedule is pretty flexible so I am able to do walks/drop ins pretty frequently throughout any day of the week. My best times would be before 12 and after 7 but I can typically do times in between as well with enough notice I would care for your pet in any way necessary by following any instructions you can give me. About: Throughout my life, me and my family have constantly had dogs and cats in and out of the house, ranging from small puppies/kittens to largest dogs. I’ve rescued so many animals with my mother and it has become a norm to be around multiple at a time.I love being with animals and enjoy spending time with all types. I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! I will have plenty of time to tend to your animals and take care of their needs. I have a very large unfenced yard that would be great for leashed activities like walking and going potty. I also have a fenced area that’s perfect for some unleashed outdoor time. I would keep any pets inside most of the time to ensure safety while I am with them. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 4 years old. I have had pets of my own, cared for neighbors pets, and pet sitting as well. I am currently not working and am self employed part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog and/or cat! I have a leash tied to our porch rails for any dogs that I watch, or go outside with them on the leash to make sure they are safe. They are safe and comfortable in the house with lots of spaces to relax and play in, 4 bedrooms total.

I can check in with your pups every 3-4 hours during the day and be there to stay after 4 pm. I prioritize feeding and potty schedules to make sure there are little to no changes in their routines. I care for your pets like they are my own. Figuring out they’re behaviors and personalities is important to me. Some dogs need lots of love and attention and others like their space, either way they’ll be in great hands.
About: I’ve loved pets since i could remember, I have a german shepherd of my own. Animals are your sacred kids and need love as well! i’m currently working on part time, 3 days a week. 10hr shifts unfortunately but i’m usually pretty good at accommodating to YOUR schedule when it’s needed! About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. Presently, I have four rescue cats, two classroom guinea pigs, and four dogs, one of which is a rescue. I volunteer with my country's animal shelter, and I have fostered and saved many animals. My love for critters is endless. I am a teacher, so teachers do not work in the summer. However, I do work teaching summer school and a camp in June. I can work evenings and remain overnight. I have the entire month of July off. My children are grown, so my schedule is flexible. I can provide references. I live in a secluded area, so when I am home, they have free range. My dogs are leash trained. During the day when I am home, they remain in a crate. I live six minutes from work, so they arent in their crates all day. My oldest daughter lives with me, so when I am away, they are taken care of.

“Trooper helped us out by boarding our recently adopted Shih Tzu Stanley over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our new fur baby came to us with somewhat severe behavioral issues and was not ready for a large get together with kids so we reluctantly decided to board him during our travels. After connecting with Trooper, we had every confidence that Stanley's aggressiveness would not be problematic during his stay, and were so pleased with how well he was cared for. We received updates and pictures and were so relieved he received a safe, warm and friendly place to stay. Trooper has a huge dog-friendly compound where his dogs and those who he boards have plenty of room for running and playing, and a fantastic heated kennel house where the dogs are safe and protected from the elements. We provided all of Stanley's food, treats and creature comforts so he would feel more at home, and he was in very good spirits when we came to retrieve him. We would definitely trust Trooper with Stanley or or other senior Shih Tzu in the future. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in preschool. My family has always had lots of pets throughout the house all through my childhood! I have lots of experience in giving baths, medicine, lots of cuddles and care! I will be sending plenty of pictures so you can see what your pet is up to at all times! I am currently working for myself while also working from home. This gives me all the time in the world to be just as attentive as you would be to your fur baby! I currently live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks and open space for walks/jogs. My house is large enough to keep small dogs and larger dogs separated to ensure there are no accidents.

When I got older. I got a bichon her name is Lime. We’ve had her for 18 years now and she is a blessing to my life. We Walker go runs with take her to the groomers vets and much more to make sure that she is safe and having the best life she can.
