“I was nervous at first since it was my first time using Rover, but Larissa completely put my mind at ease. She offered a meet and greet beforehand to see how my dog, Buddha, would adjust—and it went great! Larissa was warm, professional, and clearly loves animals. Buddha had a fantastic time and came home happy and relaxed. I’m so glad we found her—we’ll definitely be coming back from now on!”

“Tiffany, David, and the kids were absolutely amazing. We were a little nervous leaving our puppy Cooper with anyone since he was so young. when we came for the initial visit I was instantly at ease. All 3 kids played so well with him, they sent pictures of Cooper on walks, cuddling with the kids, and even took him on an adventure to a soccer game! We could not have asked for a better experience and Tiffany & David and the kids will be the first people we call whenever we need someone to watch Cooper. Thank you again!!!”

Pedro felt right at home — they sent us regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. You can tell they genuinely love dogs and treat them like family. “Jessica did an awesome job with our cat. I especially appreciated her kindness and compassion when I told her that we had to put down our other fur baby earlier that week. I appreciated her messages and pictures too.❤️”

“Elizabeth is an amazing Rover! She cared for our senior cat and provided compassionate care. She was very responsible and followed all instructions perfectly. She sent us daily photos and updates. We came home to a very happy cat and everything was left neat and orderly. We appreciate you Elizabeth! Thank you so much! 🐈”

“TOP ENDORSEMENT: Pet care is Kimberly's career. This dedication & training are evident in her professional in-person demeanor and ease with animals. Kimberly sat my two male, semi-feral cats for a week and I couldn't be happier with her care. Food, water, and litterbox cleaning was EXACTLY as I asked. The aloof, don't-touch-me cat now adores her. She was even kind enough to water my money tree and stack my mail. Her expertise and depth of experience enabled me to travel completely WORRY FREE. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. Trust and care are my number one goals when it comes to animal sitting. Not just with the four legged babies, but with the parents as well. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your care provider, and what a treat it is to know that you can trust someone with the care of your loved ones. Also, aren't dogs just perfect? I work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and am currently on telework, so my weekly availability is early morning, and late afternoon. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

About: I treat every pet like family and tailor my care to their unique needs. Whether it’s patiently helping a puppy learn routines, giving extra love and support to senior pets, or just making sure your furry friend feels safe and happy while you're away—I’m here for it all. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including senior pets who need gentler care and dogs who require medication. I’m also comfortable with basic training and reinforcing good habits for puppies. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to understand their personality, routines, and quirks, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily life, and I’ve structured my routine to make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. I work full-time during the week, but I’m fortunate to live close to my job, which allows me to come home on my lunch break for walks, potty breaks, or a little mid-day playtime. My weekends are completely free, giving me plenty of time for longer visits, overnights, or extended care. Whether it’s weekday check-ins or weekend companionship, I’m committed to keeping your pet happy, safe, and loved. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I focus on providing a safe, loving, and low-stress environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. In Your Home: I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, play, medications, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I treat your home with respect and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In My Home: I offer a quiet, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, affection, and time outdoors (for dogs). I do have one friendly cat who is both indoor and outdoor, so I always ensure any visiting pets are comfortable and safely introduced, if needed. I also limit the number of pets I care for at a time to ensure each one gets plenty of individual attention. No matter the setting, your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities.

About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!
“Jessica did a wonderful job checking on our older cat who can sometimes be particular with who he shows affection to and has some quirks. She left great pictures and updates and that put us at ease on our vacation.”

About: Pop-In Playtime or Overnight Care for Kitties. I’ve had rescued cats for 40 years, providing lifelong, responsible & ever loving care. I am detailed in their care & can give insulin to elder cats, aware of adverse symptoms related to brittle diabetics as I am an observant RN.

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own.

“Rochelle absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I received so many lovely updates while I was away, and she communicated with me about everything. “Victoria was wonderful in taking care of the kittens! She was on time everyday and sent wonderful updates of the babes. They were well loved and cared for we are so grateful!”

“Matisa U was very friendly and took extreme care of our fur baby. She communicated well and sent pictures of Hazel during our time away from her. I feel that Hazel had a great time and enjoyed herself. I would definitely recommend Matisa to to my family and friends and will definitely return to her for her services. Thank you!”

“We love how much Virginia communicates with us about our complicated kitties. She brought in our mail/packages while we were away and kept our house tidy from cat-induced messes. Would definitely have her again!”

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

I definitely plan to book with her again in the near future! Thanks again Tiffany!”

“Surly had an amazing stay with Lorena and her family. We are new to the area and very lucky to have found a wonderful place for Surly to stay when we travel. He was well taken care of and we got lots of picture updates. Surly looks forward to a future stay! Thank you!”

“Heather has a great setup for a dog like ours: lots of playmates and a fenced yard to play in. We wanted Chewy to get a fun-filled vacation complete with lots of running and roughhousing with other dogs. We think he got it because he's been sleeping two days straight, LoL.”

“The experience with Sonja and Phil was absolutely amazing. They Communicate well and quickly! Enzo was loved on like their own. They even ordered and installed a broken buckle on his collar while we were gone! We will definitely be using them many times in the future 🙂”

“We had such a great experience boarding our dog with Yeny and Ray. They were incredibly caring and attentive from start to finish. Pedro felt right at home — they sent us regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. You can tell they genuinely love dogs and treat them like family. When we picked our dog up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking with them again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving family to care for their dog! 🐾💛”

She is so friendly, communicative, and competent. I can’t say enough good things. Teddy comes home tired too! Always a plus!”
