About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. About: I have been around dogs my entire life. There isn't a time I can remember not having dogs around my entire childhood. So, I went into a dog-centered field. I am certified as dog obedience trainer, and have worked with my parents senior Westie. I am currently staying at home, so I have a lot of time. About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have hands-on experience caring for my own dogs as well as dog sitting for family members. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and giving lots of attention and affection. I’m available anytime on Fridays and weekends since I’m off work those days. Monday through Thursday, I’m available for evening visits and later times as needed. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions provided by the owner. In my home, dogs are always supervised. While my yard is not fenced, I take dogs out on a leash only to ensure their safety at all times. I never leave pets unattended outside. Inside, I provide a calm, clean environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and rest. I have a sweet, friendly golden retriever puppy who is well-socialized and gentle. All interactions are closely monitored to make sure every dog feels comfortable and safe. If a dog prefers space or separate time, I fully respect that. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully. I make sure pets are secure, doors and gates are checked, and I provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.
