My last sheltie passed away this spring and while I'm still mourning her too much for a new dog I do desire to shower your pets with affection and make them feel special when you cannot. I'm willing to throw the ball until they are whipped. I'm willing to walk them until they are all tuckered out. My theory has always been that a good dog is a tired dog and a tired dog is a good dog. About: I have 2 dogs: Mina (8 year old Wheaten Terrier) and Halle (6 year old Boxer). I've had them both as puppies so I know what it's like to take care of dogs during those rough first few months. Halle also developed some anxiety so I have experience in dealing with leash reactive dogs and training them. I love all dogs and have taken care of friends' pets occasionally. I'm currently working on a hybrid schedule, so some days I work remote and am pretty flexible. On remote days, I'm able to work anywhere with wifi and can take care of dogs at the same time. My hours are also flexible so I am able to help almost any time and can take frequent breaks to walk or play with the dogs. I would ask lots of questions to make sure I know everything about when I can crate dogs, or if they can go to parks or dog parks.

About: I have been house and pet sitting since I was in high school. Friends, family, and neighbors are always asking if I can care for their animals and homes! I used to shadow a family friend who had a pet sitting business and I loved tagging along! I work full time as a teacher, but I get off at 2:35 so my weekdays have free afternoons and evenings. Weekends are completely free and I’ll be able to care for your pets any time of day. I can easily commute to your home to care for your pet. I don’t mind transporting your pets if needed. I will take great care and consideration when entering your home and ensure safety, fun and love for your pets!
About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

Not only did she schedule a meet and greet but she actually took my little dude for an hour or two to make sure he would acclimate to the house before we left him with her. He was staying with her during the forest fires and she made sure to minimize time outdoors to protect his lungs, and sent me tons of pictures.
