About: Large fenced in backyard. Daily walks when weather cooperates (often times twice a day). We have a sweet old pup who still loves to play and would love a friend. We have had dogs all our lives and give lots of love. Will send pics daily or more often as desired. Our two boys are very sweet to dogs and are excited for more pups to play with and cuddle. I work from home and get up super early so I have time for walks before work. Work is flexible so I can care for the pup(s) as needed throughout the day. My 8 year old son gets home from school at 3 and would love a pup to play or hang out with. I have a large fenced in backyard and a sweet old pup who still likes to play and would love the company. Our house is large and spacious and we have a nice soft couch where our dog loves to lay. We have dog beds, dog bowls, and leashes in case you need to borrow ours. We offer lots of love and play time. Our two boys (8 and 5) have endless energy for playing with dogs and are very sweet with them. Daily walks (often times twice a day) if weather allows.

“Michelle was AMAZING with my dog. My dog is a special needs dog. (He can't do stairs, has anxiety accidents, needs medication, etc.) I so rarely leave my dog with anyone else because of this. But Michelle didn't make any of his needs feel like a burden. Her and her family were so warm toward him and very attentive to his idiosyncrasies. He got along with the kids, who were sensitive to his need to warm up to people. He ran around the house and was so happy to be there with the family. Michelle sent updates multiple times a day with pictures/videos and a report on how he was doing: if he went to the bathroom, what he ate, and what his mood was like. I will be booking with her again and will very easily recommend!”

About: Hello! I've been working with dogs professionally for 3 years. I also work at Ruff Canine Club in Scott's Addition as a "rufferee"! I'm very interested in dog behavior so I've learned a lot over the years about handling all sizes, levels of reactivity and unique quirks. Can't forget about CATS! I love them too :) I am comfortable administering medication, vet visits, walks, yard play, managing multi pet households, puppies and seniors. I am currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I have a car so I can easy transport to and from homes. Unfortunately, with where I am living, I am unable to board pets at my residence. I provide in home sitting through my personal business and do not offer it through Rover (only walks and drop ins).

“This was a difficult sit for Lauren. Mal was approaching 18 years old and was not eating well. Several days into our trip, he took a turn for the worse. Lauren could not contact our veterinary because it was the weekend. We advised her to contact my daughter who was our contact on the Rover site. Lauren was able to pass our key to my son-in-law who sat with our cat as he passed away. Lauren was very professional.”

I also love to take them on walks in the neighborhood, if they like walks. They would get extra special attention and may come home a little more spoiled. I also love hanging out with your pets on the sofa and sleeping with them in the bed but if there is a specific routine you want me to follow, I will follow your instructions to a tee.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Currently as college student home for break, my weekdays are fully available. I am used to waking up early and I am pretty active so early morning walks will be a breeze.
