I have also been dog sitting for various breeds and sizes for an extended amount of time! In addition to our three dogs, there is also a bunny in the family that I assist in caretaking for! “Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. My favorite types of dogs are larger working dogs, but the smaller pups require a more delicate skill set that I'm thrilled to provide. “What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! So we were in need of someone to take care of her while we were sightseeing and I am so thankful that we found Kristen and her beautiful farm! We left Eleanor at the farm for three days, and it seems like she had a blast! “What can I say? Sarah was fantastic! The whole experience was so easy and wonderful for our dog. Sarah was flexible and very responsive. Super accommodating. She kept us supplied with lots of updates and photos during the whole visit. Our hound sometimes has anxiety during new experiences but she was so well cared for that she felt immediately at ease when we arrived and through the whole visit.
