“Lorena, is very professional and takes superb care of your precious pup. Also, provides a very personal and loving home for them. I have a chihuahua who is always very excited to spend time at Lorena's home. Highly recommend! ”

“Jeanette is truly a gem! She took care of my dog for 8 days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met, I could see how kind, responsible, and genuinely loving she is with animals. My dog instantly felt comfortable around her—which says a lot! Jeanette kept me updated with sweet messages and photos throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I picked my dog up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Her home is warm and perfectly set up for pets to feel safe and at ease. I’m beyond grateful for the care and attention she gave, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my pup with her again. Highly, highly recommend!””

“Marah provided exceptional care for our Kion. Kion instantly connected with her and her family. Throughout his stay, Marah kept us updated with regular messages and photos. She treated Kion as if he were her own, showering him with the same love, cuddles, and attention he receives at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be using her services again in the future. Highly recommend Marah for anyone in need of a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

“I don't leave reviews so thos means something. Hanna did an amazing job with Skadi. Taking her for walks and playing in the yard even cuddling. It's clear she truly loves the critters. Plus she sent pix and videos and told me what she was doing all along. Greatly appreciate the extra steps. 10/10 will be back.”

“Kelsi was a great communicator. She responded to all of my inquiries immediately and was really flexible. Kane came home happy and exhausted from all the playing. I recommend Kelsi to anyone traveling.”

“Amy took great care of my boy Bruno! I got losts of picture and video updates while I was away, so I never had to worry. My boy came home happy and healthy. We will definitely be bringing him back in the future!”

I have much experience with my own pets past & present whom I have provided post-surgical care, administered medications & administered insulin injections. I have also administered subcutaneous IV fluids for several of my elderly cats in renal failure. I have loved all of my pets over the years, which included dogs, cats & guinea pigs! You can trust me with your dogs, cats or small animals. I’m currently retired with plans to work PT in 2027. For now I am “ free” to devote my time to your pets as needed. I have a very gentle & friendly rescued Beagle/ Foxhound who enjoys running & romping with playmates in my large fully fenced yard. I have a friendly, funny, curious 2 y/o tabby cat & a curmudgeon 17 y/o Tortie cat who sticks to herself mostly or lounges on her “Thrones” & observes her domain! In caring for your pets in your home, I will be respectful, honor your instructions & give affectionate, detail oriented, safe care.

“This is the first time I used Rover and left Hercules to be taken care by someone who was not part of the family. He is a senior and very into his ways so I was apprehensive about how he would take it. From the photos Cyndi provides daily I could tell in the first day he was relaxed and really into Cyndi. She took a great care of him and it was great to have daily updates and a place where he does need to share with other dogs. I would highly recommend Cyndi and I will definitely book more stays with her.”

“Michelle took such good care of our baby. She sent pics, reassuring us he was in good hands. Michelle treated Jax like her own pet. Highly recommend her as a sitter for your fur baby.”

“Since our first use of Rover, this has been the best visit/offering of service thus far! Sonja &Phil maintained communication and provided photos throughout her entire stay, provided proper feeding (I always give a little extra and sitters would never have any to return), and she came back well and in good health (not the case on 2 occasions with another sitter). I appreciated that Roxy was still able to get outdoors in a enclosed area and I'm sure she did as well because she loves being outdoors. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be looking to use their services again!”

“Jennifer and her family were absolutely amazing to work with and took great care of my dog. Her updates were above and beyond and I can tell my puppy have a fabulous weekend. Definitely plan to book with her again.”

“We had a great experience with Yeny and Ray! They were wonderful with our Furbaby, Kyon. We received lots of sweet and funny photo updates that perfectly captured his personality. It’s clear he was well loved and cared for.. he misses them already! We’re looking forward to booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Charlotte took great care of our dog and sent lots of pictures, which we loved! We know our dog was cared for, and we look forward to having Rosie stay with her again while we’re away on an upcoming vacation!”

“She done a great job with Bella , she kept me up to date with pictures and text message. Bella is a Sr dog and move around slow sometime she was happy and jumping around and super playful when we left. Crystal done a great job!!!!”

“Larissa is awesome! She cared for our puppy as if he was her own and we loved it! She made sure she sent plenty of pics of him and always kept us informed. Also Tank and Louie are the cutest and sweetest fur babies. They also took great care of our lil Benji. We’ll definitely be reaching back out to her to sit for our puppy next time we’re in need of overnight boarding 🥰”

“Ronda is amazing, patient, and very caring. She kept my puppy with great care, took him on walks, and sent many pictures timely. We will definitely go back to her next time onwards. Highly recommended.”

“I am extremely grateful that my baby Max was taken in at last minute. He was a little sad to leave so I know he had fun with all his other new friends at Denise’s. Will book again when needed.”

“Lana was amazing with my dogs! I needed a last minute sitter for my two pups at the last minute and she was nice enough to help me out. She is such a nice and genuine person that loves animals! My pups were very comfortable staying with her. Thank you Lana 🙏🏽”

“Bunchy was well taken care of by Amer. Both her and her husband are extremely passionate about what they do and plan on taking Bunchy back every time I travel. They have a large yard for bunchy to run around and he came home happy and exhausted. Again, thank you for the daily pictures to keep me aware of his daily activities. This is much better than using those large pet hotels that restricts your dog. I am new to the area and grateful to have found Amber.”

“Jessica was awesome! We loved the updates and pictures of our kitty while we were gone and she even looked after our feral kitties and possum (great for killing ticks). We will definitely be using her again!”

“Lucas is conscientious & gives his all to ensure that my cats are perfectly taken care of. He provides excellent physical & emotional care so they aren’t lonely while I’m away. Great communication, such as giving me advance notice that bc of the snowstorm he wouldn’t be able to come & so I was able to find a neighbor to stop in & check on my girls!😻”

“Alicia was absolutely amazing! Professional, reliable, and truly caring. They kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat — the best sign of excellent care. Highly recommend and will definitely book again! 🐾”

“Rochelle absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I received so many lovely updates while I was away, and she communicated with me about everything. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit uncertain, but it was such a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be working with Rochelle again, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Alexandria was wonderful with our animals! Even the mean cat seemed to like her, which is pretty rare. Yoshi was very excited to see her when she came for their visits. All animals had full water and food when we got back, my spiteful cat hadn’t broken anything out of boredom or spite from being left behind (he hates having us leave for king periods of time)”

“Reanna was great during her drop-in visit and walk with the pups. She was punctual for both the visit and the meet and greet. Very positive and great with my two 60-pound dogs. Would recommend!”

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

Whether it’s patiently helping a puppy learn routines, giving extra love and support to senior pets, or just making sure your furry friend feels safe and happy while you're away—I’m here for it all. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including senior pets who need gentler care and dogs who require medication. I’m also comfortable with basic training and reinforcing good habits for puppies. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to understand their personality, routines, and quirks, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily life, and I’ve structured my routine to make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. I work full-time during the week, but I’m fortunate to live close to my job, which allows me to come home on my lunch break for walks, potty breaks, or a little mid-day playtime. My weekends are completely free, giving me plenty of time for longer visits, overnights, or extended care. Whether it’s weekday check-ins or weekend companionship, I’m committed to keeping your pet happy, safe, and loved. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I focus on providing a safe, loving, and low-stress environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. In Your Home: I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, walks, play, medications, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I treat your home with respect and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In My Home: I offer a quiet, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, affection, and time outdoors (for dogs). I do have one friendly cat who is both indoor and outdoor, so I always ensure any visiting pets are comfortable and safely introduced, if needed. I also limit the number of pets I care for at a time to ensure each one gets plenty of individual attention. No matter the setting, your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities.
About: Hi! I'm Reis, a dependable and active animal lover with both professional and personal pet care experience. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility where I supervised doggie daycare, monitored group play, and helped ensure dogs stayed safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. This experience taught me how to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels. In addition to my professional experience, I have provided overnight house-sitting and pet-sitting services, caring for pets in their own homes and maintaining their regular routines while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and secure, and I strive to provide attentive, loving care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. As someone with an active lifestyle, I enjoy spending time outdoors and can provide plenty of exercise, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a weekend sitter, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I currently work a part-time job that allows me to have a lot of flexibility. I am able to work in all of Richmond and surrounding areas as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Through my experience working at a dog daycare facility, overnight house-sitting, and caring for both a senior dog and a young dog of my own, I've learned that every pet has different needs and energy levels. Whether your pet prefers a relaxed walk and extra patience or lots of activity and play, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: Hi there! I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, including those who are shy or anxious, and I always take a calm, patient approach so they can feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. With anxious dogs especially, I focus on creating a gentle, low-pressure environment by slow introductions, calm energy, and routines that help build trust over time. I pay close attention to body language and adjust to whatever each dog needs in the moment, whether that’s space, reassurance, or a quiet walk. I also make sure to follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is to be someone you and your dog feel completely comfortable with, like a trusted friend who shows up and cares every time. All dogs need to be current on their vaccinations (including bordatella) and flea/tick preventative. Please provide a screenshot of their most recent shots through the Rover app. I currently do NOT take more than 1 pup at a time unless the client requesting themselves has 2 pups that need taking care of! PLEASE NOTE: If you plan on booking for extended stay, our price is $40 a night for 5 days. I'm currently not employed so your pet will be attended to at all day! Any accommodation you need for them, I can surely provide at any time. I have a fenced yard and currently no other pets in the house, meaning your pet will have 100% of our time and attention so they don't feel out of place!
“Denise was absolutely awesome. One of the best Rover day cares we have experienced. Would definitely recommend her and if in the area would ask her to stay with our dogs again.”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

“Larissa is SUPER responsive and our dear puppy absolutely adores hanging out with her and her pups! You can always tell he has a WONDERFUL time because he comes home worn out! We are soooo happy that we found Larissa!”

“Susan is amazing and made our anxiety-inducing first drop off at doggie day care way easier! Easy communication and planning and she and her dog made mine feel right at home. Loved how many updates and pictures she sent us too! Our dog seemed happy and tired afterwards.”

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.
“I was so happy to find this sitter! We just adopted a rescue dog. He has a lot of anxiety. He needs special care while he is adjusting to his new home. Because of his anxiety he needs a low stimulation environment. She has been so good working with my dogs special needs! I can’t say enough good about her!! We are so grateful for the care she has given our dog!!”

I also worked part-time in a veterinary practice earlier in my career, giving me a solid foundation in animal handling and wellness. If boarding, your pets can have relaxed free rein, including resting on furniture. In caring for your pets in your home, I will be respectful, honor your instructions & give affectionate, detail oriented, safe care.

“Sarah was a wonderful fit for our new fur baby Brinx! Brinx is only 7 weeks old and Sarah treated him as her own! She updated me and sent me pictures of their time together. As a new puppy owner she was kind enough to give me so many pointers when training my little guy. This was my first time using Rover app and i am so happy to have experienced Sarah. She made me feel comfortable and reassured me everything was okay. Highly recommend! I know Brinx can’t wait for our family vacation in June so he can go back and see his second family now!”

“Bryan and Brooke were absolutely amazing! Thor, our Labrador Husky, had the absolute best time. They were communicative, sent pictures every single day and were just absolutely pleasant to coordinate with. I wish I had found them sooner, I will be using them exclusively from now on!”

“Hannah agreed to watch my pup on short notice and did a great job! She was flexible and asked good questions when I dropped my dog off and sent me cool update photos when I was out of town. I would highly recommend her!”

We feel that she loves our boys as much as we do and have peace of mind that they are in great hands. Highly recommend her to take care and watch your fur babies!”
