About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. If at all possible I prefer boarding as transitions can be a challenge but I’m usually up for anything the pet needs to feel safe and secure and do a lot of house sitting, too and am more than willing too. I try to keep all homes clean and tidy for the owner’s return. My own home is small, only two usable rooms, but has a large wooded yard and perfect spots for beautiful walks, or throwing a ball and playing fetch in our secluded field if the dog is not an eloper. My dog loved living in this home before he passed as it is quiet and peaceful, and playing ball was his favorite thing in the world. Hit me up if you need some help, as I’m quite passionate about this work and want to be of service. :) ✨ When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. I always appreciate a crate just in case but that doesn’t mean I’ll use it. My home is small so if your dog is a big chewer it might not be the perfect fit for boarding unless a crate is available. I’m home almost all day and can monitor animals closely and give plenty of love. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.

About: I have taken care of our elderly farm dogs for 2 years and a rambunctious new pup this year who has lots of energy! I have also helped my mom take care of her cats since I was 18. I am currently between jobs so this is perfect . I’m a very active person, I love walking and grounding in nature. It would be great to have some company on these walks! I have a fenced in back yard on a 3 acre land. I have a young dog named Charlie who is our farm dog, he is an excited rambunctious pup that helps protect our chickens, he can be crated if needed.

About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. Growing up I’ve always helped and learned from her how to care for other’s family members as one’s own. In my spare time, I love to hike and I walk everyday. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!
About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! It’s a perfect set up for your pups ‘home away from home.’ We take at least 2 walks a day, plus dog parks and car rides! Dogs are free to roam around the house and fenced in yard.

I can most often be found at home. Between kids, fur babies (both mine and others’) I stay pretty busy. I have a Golden Retriever who just turned 7 (though you’d never know he wasn’t still a pup) to play with and keep your baby company. There's space in my home to separate if anyone needs a break and I can easily crate if needed or desired. *Crating is for safety and comfort only, I do not use crating as a means of discipline. I work from home so there is plenty of room in my schedule for playtime, walks, pet-friendly outings, cuddles, feeds and/or any other specialized care your friend might require. I have an unfenced yard so any outside play will be leashed or in an enclosure. For additional safety, I keep a few dog crates on hand. They are available for pups that are crate trained, in case I need to separate, or even personal preference! Dogs are den animals so when used correctly, some of them (like ours!) love having a cozy space to relax. *Please note, I never use crates as “punishment” in our home, nor do I believe in or practice discipline of animals. I care for and love every animal the way I’d want my sweet boy loved and cared for.

About: im no stranger to any breed! i’ve had a passion for animals since i was young and cared for dogs ranging from little to big, trained and untrained! i’ve cared for cats ranging from stray and feral since i was young. i love to be involved with animals. i have a lot of free time in my day because i work at night, and I am available at any time for quick bookings! i am very attentive in my home and/or in my clients home. i will care for their basic needs, feedings water and of course being outside! i am able to do extras such bathing and grooming if needed. your fur babies will be well loved and given lots of attention and plenty of fun play time! i also have an unfenced yard but plenty of ground to play on. i can easily accommodate to your pets needs
About: I grew up taking care of a friend's dog. I would take the dog on long walks. I also fed him and taught him tricks. My mom is a dog walker and I often help her. Through this help, I have walked and fed a variety of different kinds of dogs. I have experience with adopted dogs who have had trauma. I have had experience taking care of friends' cats as well. A dog I grew up with lived a long happy life and towards the end of it, had a lot of health problems. Through my experience with him, I learned to take care of older dogs. He was a very very smart goldendoodle and needed a lot of stimulation, so I often played with him using dog puzzles and now have experience helping guide dogs through them. When I was younger, I had the chance to work with and ride horses which I very much loved. I am currently working part time while attending grad school, so my schedule is very flexible! I have a lot of availability weekday afternoons, and can do evenings and weekends as well. I feed pets, ofcourse, and have experience washing dogs. I like to intellectually stimulate a pet and try to teach them tricks with food or treats. The dog I grew up often taking care of required a LOT of intellectual stimulation. We would play all sorts of different games and I would teach him tricks. He required a lot of this attention, so we often used kibble instead of treats. One of my favorite parts of meeting a new animal is learning how they communicate. I will endeavor to learn how your pet expresses their needs and wants so I can best support them.
About: I have had dogs my entire life, from large to small! I have not only cared for my own pets, but I have cared for friends and families pets as well from a young age. I have experience with dogs that have anxiety and senior dogs that need extra care such as changing doggie diapers and administering pills. I would love to help care for your fur baby, and give them the care and love I give my own! I currently work four days a week as a dental assistant, so I am available on Mondays, as well as weekends to help care for your pet. Perfect for if you need a weekend getaway! I will make sure that your pet is crated or left where they need to be before leaving the home, and that the house is locked up. You can always know your pet and home will be safe with me.

I work from home so my availability is usually quite flexible. I have a nicely fenced yard where dogs can run and play. If a dog is boarding with me, or in daycare, they will have plenty of playtime throughout the day. When the dogs are done playing and it's time to rest, I have dedicated rooms with comfy crates and playpens. I am very comfortable taking care of senior dogs or those that need a little extra tlc.
About: I've spent nearly my entire life caring for pets, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs. My love for animals was ingrained in me from early childhood, and my passion for nurturing animals plays a huge role in who I am today 🩷🐾 I'm currently in college and taking online classes for the 2026/2027 school year. This allows me to have a very flexible schedule for pet care. I currently offer pet sitting services outside of my home. This typically entails feeding dogs breakfast/dinner, taking them outside every few hours, playing with those who enjoy outside time, and simply spending some time providing belly rub services 🐶 For most cats, I feed breakfast/dinner, empty litter box daily, let outside (if permitted 🐈) and set aside time for cuddles 🐾
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood and professionally for 5 years. Dogs in my care are loved as if they were my own. We have a friendly one year old English cream who keeps us busy and loves to make new friends. I am currently home full time and available most days to walk or board your fur baby. We take our dog and yours on at least two long walks a day with multiple pee breaks in between. Our English cream, Frankie and his parents will keep your baby company and we’ll cared for. We both work from home and give Frankie lots of love and walks throughout the day. We also do hikes and the beach occasionally on weekends, go to the dog park once a week and have play dates with our neighbors friendly pup.

About: I have taken care of our elderly farm dogs for 2 years and a rambunctious new pup this year who has lots of energy! I have also helped my mom take care of her cats since I was 18. I am currently between jobs so this is perfect . I’m a very active person, I love walking and grounding in nature. It would be great to have some company on these walks! I have a fenced in back yard on a 3 acre land. I have a young dog named Charlie who is our farm dog, he is an excited rambunctious pup that helps protect our chickens, he can be crated if needed.
