I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I haven't really been around cats as much as I have dogs until I started working at the Animal Shelter. Since I have been working at shelter, I have gained more hands on experience with cats by feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving medication.

About: I grew up on a farm so I have always had a love for animals big or small! I typically have been around 2 or 3 dogs and love basic training, walks (or runs), and helping our furry friends feel comfortable in any setting. I work full time but am happy to take your little one on walks (or runs) before(8am) or after work(5pm) or on weekends! RAIN OR SHINE. If you need a drop in buddy to play games or just simply keep your dog/s company I am happy to be their companion. Or if you want to add a little socialization in their time at home, I am happy to bring my (large) dog to play, he’s very nice/social and always wants to meet new friends! About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get at least 3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). About: Hello! My name is Hailey, and I am looking forward to serving you and your fuzzy family members! I am a lifelong pet lover, growing up with at least one dog and two cats in my family home at all times. I have experience dog sitting/cat sitting (both in-home and drop-in) over a number of years. I have cared for many breeds of dogs, ranging from French bulldogs to golden retrievers to mutts. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of varying temperaments and training levels, as well as puppies/kittens, aging dogs/cats, and dogs/cats with chronic illnesses. I have had dogs that both need to be leashed and that are able to be let outside off of a leash. I am able to crate pets if needed. About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I also used to work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, so caring for animals is a daily thing for me while also caring for my own. The biggest dog I have experience with is a Great Dane while the smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier. I work at the Staunton VDOT office so Rover will be more of a secondary income for me, but I used to work at the animal shelter in my hometown. I work with dogs, cats, and rabbits daily but also have experience with pets including hamsters and fish. My dogs are let outside at least 6 times a day. Those times definitely being morning, noon, evening, and night and some times in between. They are crated while I’m not home but while I am with them they freely roam. They even sleep with me.

“Our German Shepherd loved his stay. He was much more relaxed than in a kennnell with all the walks and one on one special treatment in a calm, quiet and spacious house with a fenced in back yard. I loved how caring they were and what terrific questions they asked ahead of time.”

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
“Caitlynn did a wonderful job with our little westie. Our dog has Addison’s Disease and Caitlynn was very attentive and provided excellent care. She even took the time to do some research online about the disease which was a testament to the care she showed our little guy. Caitlynn took our dog to a park regularly, provided frequent updates, and cared for him as if he were her own dog. It’s an easy thing to say that we will use Caitlynn again.”
“Rebecca was the best! She was so flexible in meeting me to drop off/pick up my dog, and I could tell that my dog loved spending time with her. She was smiling and wagging her tail when I picked her up and I know she had the best time. She sent photos throughout her stay and kept me in the loop.
