Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’ve always had a special place in my heart for them! I’ve had everything from Huskies to Pekingese. I work from home so I have plenty of flexibility as well as plenty of time to play, provide attention and snuggle with your pup! Working remotely allows me for flexibility in my home, where the pups have free range. I stay mostly in the main level of my townhome and have a fenced balcony as well as tons of grassy areas for the pups to go and play on

We can care for crate trained animals, outside or inside pets. But you won't have to worry about them being stuck in a small & scary concrete kennel. About: I have had many animals in the past and to me they have always been family so whether it's my own animal or yours I will love it and treat it as my own. I am looking for experience and people willing to allow me to work with their animals, because eventually I am wanting to open my own rescue or shelter. About: This is from a few years ago now, but everything still applies! I’ve been doing Rover for about 6 years, and watching people’s pets for over 10 years now. Hey there! My name is Abby, I am 30-years young and I absolutely adore all animals!!! My father is a self- proclaimed dog whisperer that is amazing with pets, and he taught me how to safely and successfully interact with dogs at a young age. Since I was a wee one, I have always had a natural ability with pets; they generally tend to be fond of me, dogs especially. I have had ample practice and training, with a wide variety of dogs over that past few years. I have been watching pets for eight years now! From the ages 22 -26, I worked at a school for at-risk girls. There all the faculty members seemed to have pets, and take all these trips! No one there had a reliable pet-sitter, for when they were out of town, so those families were forced to board their pets. So I’m talking to the school nurse one day, she’s newly single & has finished plans to start traveling the world. But she owns Harley, the yellow lab, who has recently aged immensely and is no longer well when boarded anymore. And There I was waiting & beyond ready to start my side-business as a dog-sitter. Harley, became my first client and more so my buddy, I watched him for 1 to 2 week periods, frequently, over the next 3 years. Then, the other staff members began to use my services, also. I had around 5-6 dogs that I would take care of on a regular basis. Whether that meant staying with them at their house, walking them multiple times a day, playing, and anything else that needed to be done! About: Leaving your loved ones that cannot talk and describe their experience is scary sometimes. You want to be able to trust that they are in good hands with someone who will abide by your training, rules, and care as well as someone who will love them, show them as much attention as possible (especially important since their Person is away), and pay attention to their cues. I have been around cats and dogs my entire life, and love them more than most of the human race if we are being honest. I take pride in making new cat and dog friends wherever I go, and I can't wait to become friends with your best friend! While I love dogs and will enjoy caring for and playing with them, I am particularly drawn to cats. I have experience with both (but yes, primarily cats) since early childhood, and know how to read their body language and gradually warm up to them and build their trust. I truly enjoy the play and attention aspect that is needed when pet caregiving, and while no one enjoys cleaning a litter box or being a pooper scooper, it's something that is worth the reward of their company. I am usually home, with only things like taking my family to their job, school, and sitter as well as store runs taking up my time. I do gig work such as this and shopping/errands/delivery so I won't be away from the pet care job much if a boarding situation, and not for long increments when I am. Safety is key, I check exits before exiting, I will not leave two animals alone together that previously haven't been alone together nor will I leave them alone with kids, mine or any others. I will follow the owner's wishes as to not compromise their pet's routine or anything that could risk their health or wellbeing.
About: With the proper instructions, I can and will do anything to give your pet the care he/she needs. I have no problem administering medications of any kind. My wife and I have a yard with sections fenced and not fenced, so I can take dogs out on a leash to relieve themselves, or let them out to run and play. There is also a picnic area near my house with a paved walking trail for walks. I have had and cared for dogs my entire life. Growing up we mainly had large dogs, but I have also cared for small and medium dogs through family. I am comfortable caring for any size dog with any set of needs! We can also go to the paved walking path about 5 minutes away. We have 2 medium sized herding dogs that love to play with other dogs. If your dog isn't able or doesnt want to play, no problem! They have experience with small, large, young, and elderly dogs and know how to interact with any needs and temperament. We also have 2 cats that may sniff your dog, but will otherwise do their own things. They have also interacted with different types of dogs and know what to do. Both of our families also love animals so if anyone comes by, it'll just be more love for the fur babies! There is also a veterinarian about 15 minutes away just in case. We are super flexible. I am a stay at home dad and my wife will be working from home in October. We can be accommodating to your needs! We have a fenced in yard which includes a deck and quite a bit of running space. Our dogs love to run up and down the hill, but also like to sun bathe on the porch.

I am also aware that trusting someone with your pet is HARD, though I am here to make the experience easy as possible. I prefer meet and greets before any service is confirmed, to ease any timidness! I have a very flexible schedule and am open regularly to tend to any needs or want you may need during a service. I am open to any requests upon approval and am willing to make extra time to exceed the needs or your animal. The safety and trust within the animal is number one priority on my end when it comes to your pet! So my sole focus would be to make your pet feel as safe as possible during the service time. I do not have access to a fenced in area, though I do enjoy campus, trail, and scenery walks. I do prefer during my service that animals are on a leash, unless fenced in area is available. Unfortunately I could not have pets at my parent's home as a child due to the rental agreement. I'm happy to say that now I am the fur mamma of 3 precious dachshunds and one very sweet and vocal kitty. There's never a dull moment at my house! I have 7 years of dog and cat sitting experience. Several families depend on me to care for their pets while away on vacation. I thoroughly enjoy my time with these fur babies and it is quite evident that they love me in return. I am experienced with bathing, and medication administration as well. I also have several years of experience taking care of and boarding pets for elderly people who need a hand caring for their pets, such as bathing them and taking them to the vet's office for them. I'm currently working part time 3 days a week. I will have plenty of time to spoil your pets. Occasionally I pick up extra days but will avoid picking anything up if I know I'm going to be taking care of your pets. I follow whatever instructions you leave me. I prefer a written note laid out where I can easily refer to it. This is especially helpful to me if you have multiple pets with different routines. I not only complete daily routines with pets, but I also like to spend some quality time playing or snuggling with your pet as I know they are missing you very much while you are away.
About: I grew up in a house full of animals my entire life. I have helped watch my families pets for as long as I can remember. I have watched Dogs from all ages puppies to seniors. I work as a server Wednesday-Sunday nights. I would be able to do Check ins any morning I was needed to because I don't usually work until 4 or 5. I have a spare bedroom in my house that could be used for boarding purposes if needed but would also be open to letting them sleep on the couch or bed. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a decent sized back yard and I live across the street from a walking trail. I do have one pet cat, she is almost a year old and has been around multiple cats and dogs with no problem and would be excited to have a play mate.
“Alexa was great! She was super communicative and showed up on time every single day for a month to walk our two dogs while we were settling into a new house. She got them plenty of exercise each day, gave updates on how they did on each walk, adjusted walk lengths based on the weather and how much energy the dogs had each day, and overall was super attentive to each dog’s individual needs. Our boys are missing her already, and we will definitely be using her in the future!”
About: I work as a veterinarian technician, and I am certified in animal medicine. I have been walking dogs, boarding dogs, and doing in home visits for many years. I love all animals and care for each as if they were my own. All pets have free roam of my home inside and out. They truly will live as they do in their own home. No pet is kenneled! (unless deemed necessary by owner) Although I work in a Veterinarian Clinic, your pets will not ever be alone. Someone is always home with them, even when I personally can not be. You won’t be disappointed with the care they receive here. I also have a Facebook page you dedicated to the pets I board, and walk. I currently work part time at a Vet Clinic in Kingsport. I only work 20 hours a week. So most of my time is spent here. Even when I’m Not here someone always will be home. Hopefully I can soon have pet sitting as a full time gig and I’ll be home and with the pets ALL THE TIME!! Our house is in a very quiet neighborhood, we have 3 dogs a cat who has 3 legs we have an acre of land they can run around on, but it’s not fenced in yet. We have to walk one of ours out on a leash and can accommodate this with your pet as well.
