About: We breed and train Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that are raised for Hunting, Hunt Tests, Obedience, and for conformation(shows). We have been involved with many breeds including Great Danes, Setters, Retrievers, and even Mutt Mixes. We start the day before sunrise to let the dogs out for a run and feed them. Around lunch time the pups are let out to play and exercise some more. We feed animals again around sunset or about 12 hours from their breakfast meal and let them exercise and play. One more outing before we go to bed where we always check in with our "puppy cams" before nodding off to sleep. Your dogs will be exercised multiple times a day on the farm on an adventure that changes based on the weather. In the summer we put a kiddie pool out for them to play in which we keep nice and clean. Some warm days we may take the dogs on a hike to the creek in the summer time where they can run around and have fun, other days it may be an outing around the fenced in areas. Any specific medical needs will be taken care of based on their needs and within our abilities. We will exercise them individually unless we are informed otherwise on their play pals.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

About: When my rather difficult but beloved rescue passed away in November 2024, I realized for the first time how integral dogs are to living a happy and healthy life. In April 2025, I decided it was time to add a new addition to my family, and I now have a 7 month old female German Shepherd, Pilar (who I'm pretty sure is a Golden Retriever trapped in a Shepherd's body). Pilar is the most friendly dog you'll ever meet, and she LOVES to play with other dogs. I am constantly searching for quality day care for her, and I find it's difficult to find someone who is truly reliable and provides safe, clean, and comfortable care. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and invite pups into my home. When your dog stays with me, she's going to enjoy all of the comforts she's accustomed to at home. Whether that be napping on the couch, playing in the fenced-in backyard, or lounging at my feet while I work from home. I even have a couple of crates if you'd prefer your pup enjoy crated nap time. I've had pets my entire life and have plenty of experience with animals of all types and all personalities, including damaged rescues. I've been through extensive training with Pilar and am happy to apply the skills I've learned when working with your dog, as well. My main goal with providing this service is to create an environment where pups who really enjoying playing with each other can do so safely and comfortably while enjoying the kind of care they're accustomed to at home. Please note that I have a 10 year old cat, and while she knows how to hold her ground with dogs, I cannot accept any pups who don't tolerate cats or who would put her safety at risk. I work from home full-time so pet care is woven into the fabric of my daily routine. I can support hourly potty breaks and am able to take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, mealtime, potty time, snuggles, etc. I have a fenced in yard where dogs will be let out for supervised play and potty breaks. Depending on the time of year and your preference, I have a small doggy pool so that dogs can play in the water to release energy. Indoors, dogs are welcome on the couch and on the dog beds. During nap time, I can crate your pup if you prefer, or she can be loose. The only place that's off limits are my two guest bedrooms.

About: Hi, I’m Sydney! I am the owner of Notch Creek, I specialize in behavioral dogs, farms and personalized care. I have a full time job in cville at a local pet facility so I can accept jobs from Buckingham to Charlottesville! I’m currently working short shifts in Charlottesville. About: I am a dog groomer of 4 years wanting to build towards starting my own business, I'm hoping rover will help me build clientele and the money I need to start! I love dogs of all breeds! I'm a pca and work 9-5 Monday through Friday every week so im available after 5 on the weekdays and available on the week ends I have a crate, a run outside, and an invisible fence on my property but the dogs mostly are found on the couch. I don't usually have clients' dogs at my house but that may vary on the dog.

About: Friendly sitter with experience with senior pups, cats and chickens. I currently have two wonderful dogs and a handful of chickens. One of our dogs is what we believe is a Foxhound and the other is a Shepherd mix. Both are rescues so we are not sure. About: Growing up at a dairy farm, I was always surrounded by all kinds of animals. Horses, cows, dogs, etc. I had a love for them all. But it wasn’t until I had my first dog on my own inside the house that I totally understand just how much I really love dogs. I work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All nights. So Monday through Friday I have lots of spare time. From 7 AM Monday until 7 AM on Friday. I do not have a fenced in backyard. So keeping them on the leash is my number one priority. From getting out of the house and into the car. Because I do a lot of hiking with Bella. I also have a good size first aid kit.

About: I have had a variety of animals my whole life! I absolutely love being around animals and spending time with them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, all the way from newborn to seniors! I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! About: We breed and train Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that are raised for Hunting, Hunt Tests, Obedience, and for conformation(shows). We have been involved with many breeds including Great Danes, Setters, Retrievers, and even Mutt Mixes. We start the day before sunrise to let the dogs out for a run and feed them. Around lunch time the pups are let out to play and exercise some more. We feed animals again around sunset or about 12 hours from their breakfast meal and let them exercise and play. One more outing before we go to bed where we always check in with our "puppy cams" before nodding off to sleep. Your dogs will be exercised multiple times a day on the farm on an adventure that changes based on the weather. In the summer we put a kiddie pool out for them to play in which we keep nice and clean. Some warm days we may take the dogs on a hike to the creek in the summer time where they can run around and have fun, other days it may be an outing around the fenced in areas. Any specific medical needs will be taken care of based on their needs and within our abilities. We will exercise them individually unless we are informed otherwise on their play pals.

About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well.
