“This was my wife and I's first time using Rover, so naturally there was a bit of hesitation when it came to leaving our 6 month old Beagle with someone we did not know. HOWEVER, we felt completely comfortable leaving our pup with Stephanie. First off, we decided to use Rover the night before we needed someone to watch our dog, and Stephanie responded to us promptly making it a breeze to schedule care for Charlie. She was very thorough in making sure she knew everything about him- his eating schedule, walking schedule, bathroom schedule, and even wanted to know where we kept him in his crate at night so she could help him feel close to home as possible. “We knew the moment Kelly walked in for our meet and greet that she was our choice, as all of our babies surrounded her asking for attention and pets and Lana made herself comfortable next to her on the couch. If momma approves we all do! However, she met and exceeded our expectations during the visits with tons of pictures and gave us a sense of calm being away from our babies for the first time. They loved her and looked so calm and happy when we came back that she will definitely be out go to sitter and we’ll pass the word to our friends because it was a great experience! Thank you Kelly!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.
About: My family and friends call me the dog whisperer because I instantly form a special bond with every pup that I meet and care for! My current work schedule allows me the flexibility to be available for walks and potty breaks Monday through Friday 10AM- 2PM. The weekends are based on need. For care in my home I have a 10 year old mixed breed peek-a-poo. He gets along very well with other non aggressive male and female dogs. He is can be shy around other dogs but not aggressive. He loves children. I have 2 children ages 9 & 6. Our yard is not fenced in so we take our dog out for walks for his potty breaks
About: I was raised with inside and outside dogs, I have years of experience with all ages of dogs, from newborns to my current rescue senior dog. I have a big backyard for plenty of walking and playing, a quiet neighborhood setting as well for lengthier walks. My senior dog is extremely calm and loves all dogs of all sizes. My young pup is well socialized and energetic to play with your pup for hours. My home will come with approved treats, I currently keep milkbones and dentasticks on hand, I am a rawhide free home due to its choking hazards. I have a work from home job, I am home all day 4 days of the week at minimum. Even on my “off days” I am generally gone no longer than about 4 hours. I have a long rope leash for play, a backyard that isn’t fenced but is more so “closed off” to neighbors. I have sturdy baby gates to section off my home to give dogs space for “alone” time away from my dogs if they need it.

“Ashton is fantastic! She took great care of my dog, Bumi, and sent me plenty of photo and video updates while I was at work. It’s safe to say Everest has a new best doggy friend and new best human friends! Thanks for watching our sweet girl! She loved you guys!”

“Cheyanne was very kind and considerate. She took the time to answer questions I had and she did a wonderful job with our baby. I would absolutely recommend her and we will contact her if we're in the area again.”

About: "Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend...never owned a dog" I live in a townhouse in Williamsburg with husband, our 1 year old daughter and our puppy, Korben. Dog sitting is a full family experience in our home, both our daughter and puppy love it when we have house guests. In fact our daughter’s first word was “doggie”, so it’s very important that dogs that come into our home do well with children as much as they do well with other dogs. While we don’t have a fenced in yard we make up for it with a walking path in the neighborhood and many other walking trails close by, we generally go on two walks a day, weather permitting. I've been sitting for my friends and family for as long as I can remember. So if your looking for a place where your dog will be well cared for and have a lot of fun in the process, look no further. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with further questions, I want you to feel comfortable when you leave your dog with me while you are out of town. I work mostly from home so your pup will have the hands on attention they deserve! We offer ample love and attention through walks and belly rubs. There are occasions I will need to leave the house for work, but I’m usually not gone more than an hour or so. In those instances we’ll recreate what you do with your pup when leave your home. I really try to mimic your routine at home as best as possible. I know that coming to a new home can be stressful for the pup so I try to ease that transition by sticking to your routine as best I can.
“Ellie G. is a great communicator with photo updates. The daycare day went well and Annie O was introduced to Ellie’s chickens and I’m sure she wanted to get a little closer but Ellie was great keeping Annie away from them. Annie also met Ellie’s dog and it appears that they both made a new friend. The day was a success.”

About: I am a dog lover who has a mini Bernedoodle. I have had senior dogs and dogs with extensive medical needs. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. My husband and I both work from home full time. We have a great back yard for your pet to run around in with our sweet boy Winston. I have one sweet young dog who would love an occasional dog visitor and playmate. I will treat your pet just like I do, which one may define as a bit on the spoiled side!

“Hilary and her family took great care of my dog Peanut! I appreciated her updates and flexibility through the stay. Our pup had anxiety and she took great care to make her comfortable. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Wonderful with the pups and great with communication. Sent me photos multiple times a day to ensure my doggies were being loved and taken care of. Very friendly and accommodating and so easy to work with. They adjusted their schedule to my changing plans.”

“Ryan and Stephanie kept me updated daily on Muppet’s visit and how she was doing. She was getting a lot of attention and loved every minute of it. We were a little late picking her up, but Ryan and Stephanie were understanding. When I picked her up, she was very content and happy and did not seem to have any stress whatsoever.”

“Tara and her family were amazing with my dog. As a rescue, my dog is nervous in new situations. I appreciate all the great care that she provided. My dog had a great time and she cared for her with the same level of care that I would.”

“Cheyanne took amazing care of my two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, she was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. She sent regular updates, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, and it was obvious my cats were comfortable and well cared for. What really stood out was how patient and attentive she was with them. She made sure they were not only fed and safe, but also happy and getting attention while I was gone. It meant a lot to come back knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend Cheyanne to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Jeff is a wonderful dog sitter. He has been such a good caretaker of my little Yorkiepoo. Jamison always seems relaxed when I pick him up so I am so assured he’s well taken care of when I’m gone. Thank you Jeff!”

“Christene did a great job with Piper. This was Piper's first time away and Christene made us feel very comfortable with lots of videos. Lots of playtime for a puppy was perfect! We will use her again!”

“Sandra and her family are great! Both of our dogs instantly felt comfortable with them and so did we. We found Sandra to be patient and kind to our boys and had no doubt they were in goods hands while we were away. She checked in with us often to let us know how they were doing. Great job Sandra!”
