I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I grew up on a farm so I have always had a love for animals big or small! I typically have been around 2 or 3 dogs and love basic training, walks (or runs), and helping our furry friends feel comfortable in any setting. I work full time but am happy to take your little one on walks (or runs) before(8am) or after work(5pm) or on weekends! RAIN OR SHINE. About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide maximum companionship and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get 2-3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. About: I’ve been raised with all kinds of cats and dogs for my whole life, I’ve even helped with pregnancy! I’m the perfect amount of calm and playful to suit your animals needs! :) I’m currently trying to find a part time job, so I should be available during the evenings or mornings! I’m also taking care of a mama cat and her babies right now so I’ve got quite the pawful! To be completely truthful, I have a little more experience with cats but i usually give my dog Bella car rides (she doesn’t like walks) and plenty of play time! ( when she wants it, she’s extremely lazy) so I’ll of course be able to do that for pets!!
About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, but can make room in my schedule and heart to take care of your dogs and cats. I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.
About: I love animals every one of them. It's very therapeutic to me. I don't have all of the experience as most people who are on here, however I'm very patient with animals I have grown up with animals my entire life and I've always enjoyed the responsibility of taking care of a pet. I go above and beyond for any animal,(including wildlife) every animal deserves dignity, especially when they are apart of a family. I am very calm even when animals may be fretted or not sure. It's all about body language. I have a lab and I enjoy taking him hiking, bike riding, and sometimes just simply loving the cuddles and kisses while relaxing. Animals love me I don't know what it is about me but I enjoy giving the I currently am in college at Liberty University, but I’m online, which gives me a lot of availability to care for and love on others pets. I’m not an animal whisperer by any means, haha, however, I feel like it sometimes. Animals in general but dogs really have a special place in my heart they are just drawn to me and I’m drawn to them. I pay a lot of attention to their body language. I think that’s super important. I am a jogger and love to be outside and stimulation for a dog is super essential in pet care and I always make sure that I’m not only giving tons of kisses and love while their hoomans are gone but ensure they are thriving and they feel safe and comfortable with me. It’s my only goal. They are amazing animals and while kennels aren’t a a terrible option, I find it more comforting to the animal to be in their own home.
About: I've always had dog(s) in my household since I was a little boy. I've seen them all, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think that they're human. In my experience in dealing with all of these personalities I've noticed one trait that is essential in dog-care, patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of, I've seen it all. Trust me, I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away. In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various friends and family. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on runs and playing outside. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
