About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide maximum companionship and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get 2-3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths off my backyard. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors. This allows me to build our bond in neutral space with plenty of positive stimulation for the dogs. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here!

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid. I mainly have experience with smaller breeds such as Maltese, Shih tzu. I also have experience with labs. I will be home daily so lots of cuddle and play time. My yard is not fenced but we do live out in the country and have a big yard. We love to go on long walks through the neighborhood and the local park. Our Charlie Brown loves car rides! My husband is great with animals and loves to play with them! We also have a 4 year old girl who is learning to play with our dogs as well and a full of life 7 year old boy who loves animals, so playtime is all the time here! There is never a dull moment, that's for sure! If you aren't comfortable with your pet coming to our house, that's ok too! I (we) can come to you! I'm a trustworthy, respectful, playful dogsitter as well. Transportation is not an issue. I can stay over night or just check in from time to time with your little one. It's all up to you!
