I have been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. My earliest memories include setting up agility courses for my german shepherd in my backyard. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. I recently quit my job to pursue dog boarding full time and I could not be more excited to spend all day with your pup(s)! We spend lots of time on play, exercise and enrichment. Our yard is set up similar to a dog park meaning we have two separate fenced areas for dogs comfort. We have one small fenced area (4ft fence) to accommodate small, elderly, timid and handicapped pups as well as a large dog park sized fenced area to accommodate more playful mid sized pups (6ft fence). We also have a whole home generator for added peace of mind. When the weather is nice we like to spend a lot of time outdoors Health and safety is our top priority. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression. If your dog shows signs of aggression during their stay they will be quarantined for the remainder of the stay and not accepted back. In order to board with us your dog must be friendly with EVERYONE this includes children (even though none are present in the home, they do come and visit), the elderly, cats and other dogs. Please provide proof of rabies vaccination (I need a copy of the in date certificate that is signed by your veterinarian). Please ensure your dog(s) are free from fleas ticks and intestinal parasites. Our storage space is limited so please only bring food (put food in ziplock bag and write pets name on the bag) , medications/supplements, and a leash. We will provide toys, treats, bowls (we have a variety of sizes both regular and slow feeder), crates if your dog needs one and plush bedding. Please ALWAYS pack extra food. We will not be able to fulfill requests to withhold water from your dog, so if this is something you require please choose another sitter. Please provide an emergency contact who is willing to pickup your dog(s) in case of emergency. Drop-offs/Pick-ups are between 8A-8P by appointment only. Please keep pickup/drop off timeframes to a 30 minute window. I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. About: I've been taking care of animals of all kinds since I was 12! I started volunteering early with a local humane society and have been active in rescues ever since. I have also fostered dogs from two months-10 years old, including medical fosters, so I'm comfortable giving pets medicine if need be. I currently work at UVA in their communications office, where I have a lot of flexibility, especially on Thursdays and Fridays when I work remotely. I'm available most weekends and many holidays! We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!
About: I’ve taken care of pretty much all kinds of animals in my life! Dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, chickens… I’m a current dog mom to 4 pups. One of which is a cancer dog, so I’m very familiar with giving medication if need be. We also have a 1 year old puppy + are very refreshed on puppy life! I love any + all animals— they’re my “people”. I currently work mornings- 2pm ish Monday Tuesday and Friday so can come for afternoon walks/visits! I’m available Monday thru Friday. Available some weekends with prior notice if is suits. I have plenty of dog leash walking experience + can keep my eye on your pups! We love to host dogs in our home as it gives us the little bit of love to go around without the need of getting more of our own.
About: About me: I’m very compassionate with peoples pets, I am very skilled in the pet sitting and daycare environment as well as the medical side and grooming side. I think what really sets me apart from everyone else is that I am a licensed pet groomer as well and if you need any sort or grooming i would be able to groom your pets as well so when you pick up your pets from a day with me they will smell great and look amazing as well. I also have pets of my own which means I know how much love and play time pets need and what it takes to care for someone else’s beloved pets. About: hi!! i’m gabby scarbrough, i love any kind of animals i’ve had a passion for them from a very young age. I am able to house sit, board, check in, and walk your dog! I am very reliable, and hard-working. I am so excited to make your animals part of my life! i’m very loving with animals and i’m able to walk them and feed them often times any time of day. I received a degree in psychology from James Madison University. I love animals, kids, and people so i am able to work with anything and can also do laundry, dishes, or clean the house if needed! I work full-time 9-5, but free in the mornings and evenings and the weekends! I am super flexible with whatever times you and your pet need! I live in a home however I have a dog, so the dog I am boarding would need to meet mine first! I love going on walks, playing with animals, and of course giving treats
