Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

“We could not have found a more loving and caring person to watch our Twinkle. Jessie went above and beyond making sure Twinkle felt confortable from day one. We met with her prior to our trip so Twinkle would be comfortable with her and her family as well as the house. When we dropped her she felt right at home. Jessie sent us updates and many pictures of Twinkle during her stay and we knew she was getting all the love and care she needed. Twinkle had a tumor removed a couple weeks before our trip and Jessie even did us the favor of talking her to the vet to get her bandage changed and took good care of her foot. Twinkle was so happy there that when I went to pick her up she was in no hurry to go home and went back to her bed! Your dog will be very happy in Jessie’s care. She also only takes a max of 2 dogs so your dog will be getting all the needed attention. We will definitely have Jessie watch Twinkle on our next trip or when we leave for a long day! About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.
About: I’ve taken care of many animals on my family’s small farm including three dogs, chickens, a pig, sheep, and bees! I’ve always loved dogs and got my first dog before I can remember. Two of our family dogs are hyper cattle dogs that have required lots of training, so I’m no stranger to the zoomies! One of our dogs is a rescue and arrived to us with anxiety and Lymes disease among other issues. I know how far a little extra love for our dogs can go! She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

“Our Duke can be a little high maintenance, but Tanine took him in and made him feel comfortable during his stay. Tanine, her kids, and the other dogs were all great to him. He seemed to really enjoy his stay. Thanks!!!”
