“This was our first time using Rover. Our two Goldens are very big babies so of course we were nervous to leave them. We did a meet & greet with Dana a few months before our stay and felt very confident that they would be okay staying with her. They did have a great weekend with Dana! She sent us lots of videos and pictures during their stay and they received first class treatment from her. We were able to relax and enjoy our time away knowing she was treating them like they were her own. They arrived to stay with a stranger but definitely left with a new best friend!”

“Cori was great! My puppy Viena was very happy at her house. Cori sent me pictures and kept in touch daily. I will be taking Viena to her in the near future. I will also be recommending her to others!”

I will be recommending her to our friends and we will be booking with her again.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Amber made us feel so comfortable about leaving our pup with her. We scheduled our vacation last year and I had forgotten to book JackJacks stay at a kennel we normally take him to. I’m glad that I did because Amber took such good of him. From the first meeting until we got back I felt at ease. She sent us pictures of him everyday and gave us updates on how he was adjust. My husband and I were a little concerned about her fence because our pup is small and he’s escaped from our backyard numerous times. Amber sent us pictures of JackJack playing on her screened in porch because she knew we were a little concerned. I would definitely book Amber to keep JackJack again. When we picked up Jack he greeted us but tried to go back into Ambers home, so that let me know that he also had a great time with her. ☺️”

“Julie was amazing with my boy!! I don’t like to leave him with anyone other than family (slightly overprotective) but circumstances happened and I chose Julie based on her amazing reviews! They were right on! Thank you!”

“I cannot thank Heather enough for taking such wonderful care of our Pug Mix, Jett. He is high energy and she wore him out! He come happy and tired. She sent me great pictures of him during our time away. He will be seeing Heather again when we go out of town! Thanks Heather!”
“💕 Warm & Heartfelt Tara took such wonderful care of Peanut while I was away. I could tell right away that she treated her with so much love and attention. She and her family cared for my dog with so much love, as if Peanut were her own. Her kids were also so sweet and played so nicely with Peanut — it really made her stay extra special. She even surprised us with an adorable elephant toy and cookies for Peanut to take home, which was incredibly thoughtful. Peanut came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I feel so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust, and I would definitely recommend Tara to anyone looking for a loving and responsible sitter”

“Kathryn was amazing! So warm and inviting to me and my dog Romeo! The kids loved on him just like he was their own. I got pics of him everyday and I’ve never seen a smile so big on his face! She made him feel at home and made me feel at ease knowing he was being taken care of in a safe and happy environment! This was my first time boarding him and I absolutely will be calling her in the future! 10/10!”

“One of our pups had never stayed the night away from home so we were a little nervous. Chaoran made sure she was comfortable and happy. Both our dogs seemed to do great for the week. We were so thankful for the daily updates and care shown to our furry family members!”

“Rachel was a great sitter for my dog Maggie. This was the first time I left my dog to a sitter, and I chose Rachel because of her positive ratings and many returned customers. I was very satisfied with Maggie's stay. Rachel texted me about drop-off/pick-up times, sent me daily updates, and I believed my dog was taken good care of. I will surely consider Rachel again when I need to board my dog.”

“Stacie is so great. This was the third time our pup has stayed with her and every time he comes back happy. Stacie sends great photos and keeps us updated. Wish we could tip more!”
“Ashley and her family took great care of our cat MJ! The pictures Ashley sent of MJ having fun makes us smile and laugh. We have to ask ourselves, “is that our cat?” because MJ is so comfortable and out going with Ashley and her family. Ashley - thank you for the great care you give to MJ!”

About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.

“Stephanie has been an absolute blessing! I was a nervous Nelly when it came to finding someone to help with pet sitting and dog walking for our senior Great Dane, Meena. Our family has gone through a lot of changes, including losing our other Dane, who Meena was incredibly bonded with, and our daughter moving out. meaning one less person around to love on and help care for her, especially when we travel. I interviewed three pet sitters, and Stephanie was the only one Meena immediately got excited about. So, I literally let Meena pick her sitter and she picked Stephanie! It was the BEST choice ever. The peace of mind Stephanie has given me is truly immeasurable. She is caring, dependable, communicative, and clearly loves our girl, and knowing Meena is happy and well cared for while we’re away means everything to me. If you need a pet sitter or dog walker, BOOK HER NOW! You and your pets will be so glad you did!”

“Rhonda was fantastic! I love getting pictures of our boys walking and cuddling while we were gone! She made me feel very comfortable from the very first time meeting the boys! Her communication definetly made us not worry! I would highly recommend her for any services :)”

About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

We got daily updates and photos of our dogs and the adventures they had the farm. We were at ease and able to enjoy our time away from home without any worries. I will be recommending her to our friends and we will be booking with her again.”

“She was awesome and I didn’t worry about Simon while we were away. It was the first time we left him so at first I was very nervous. Simon had separation anxiety during his stay and she was patient and understanding. She kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his stay with texts and pictures. Will definitely be booking her again for any future trips without hesitation.”

“I was very impressed with Jaime and Mike and will definitely be calling them again! My golden retriever was 'Living her best Life" there! She enjoys being around people at all times and was welcomed in the home as one of their own! I love to find other people that love dogs and takes care of them as if they are one of the famiiy! Loved seeing pictures of her fitting right in with her daughter who obviously loves dogs as well! Thank you so much!!”

“I am so grateful we found Beth through a friend's suggestion. We planned a family trip to Europe and needed a sitter for our Labrador for two weeks. Beth and her family took Luna into their home and treated her like family. Beth sent us pictures of Luna enjoying life and how she was interacting w their dog and children. After our trip, Beth even brought Luna back to the house for us. I could tell Luna loved Beth and was happy! I highly recommend Beth to take great care of you beloved furry family members!”
