“Hillary and her family are amazing! We live about 40 minutes away, but as soon as we got there, we immediately felt like their land was a perfect place for dogs to play. So, it was worth the drive! Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! About: I had this one male cat that an wild animal hurt. I had to give him an antibiotic twice daily and change the bandage daily. I set with him for hours because I did not want him to be scared. The hardest thing I ever had to do was be with my cat of 11 years when he had to be euthanized. I didn't want him to be afraid,this was so hard to do. Anyway I will give your baby all you would give.

About: I worked for an Animal Hospital for 4 years and am familiar with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have dealt with some of the happiest and most anxious dogs and cats so I am pretty comfortable with anything. Will also give medication if your pet requires it. I have 2 dogs of my own who are very high energy, so I am used to that as well. I also deal with puppies and elderly dogs everyday so age is no issue. I don't mind any breeds! Small caged animals, fish, or some outside animals are no problem either. I hope you will choose me to check on your babies while you may be working or out of town for a while! Thank you so much guys! It will definitely depend on day and time but I am pretty flexible! I don't work quite as much as I used to but I do still work full time. I go by and do what I am told by the pet owner to keep the babies in routine as much as possible so they do not become stressed but with that being said I also am not able to stay all day or neccesarily the exact times you might due to also having a work schedule to abide by.

My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. I strive to provide a stress-free, comforting environment while you are away so please let me know what your pup loves the most! What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding with a prior meet and greet* if your dog gets along with the two dogs in our home. About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Allowing them to be where they feel the most comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 3 years now. I can do various things including walking and bathing almost any dog. Taking care of dogs is my job and I love it! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I am able to do walks/drop ins pretty frequently throughout any day of the week. My best times would be before 12 and after 7 but I can typically do times in between as well with enough notice I would care for your pet in any way necessary by following any instructions you can give me. About: I’m 47 and have dogs and cats my whole life. We have 4 generations of veterinarians in our family (although I’m not one.) Pets are part of our families and I look forward to helping take care of yours! I’ve just moved to Lynchburg and am looking forward to dog walking, cat caring and just dropping into help check on your fur babies. About: I have had dogs and cats as pets and watched after them all of my life. I have experience with basic care and needs, playing, bathing, and training dogs. I work at an animal hospital currently, so I do have experience in a medical setting with animals. I am pretty flexible with my schedule. I have a full time job Monday-Friday until 4PM but I am available after that time. I can do drop in visits or walking every few hours or several times daily. I am available for house sitting. I prefer a set schedule but willing to negotiate. I am flexible! I take safety and trust to be the most serious thing to me when taking care of animals. Your pets will always be safe and spoiled with me.
About: I've constantly been around pets, especially dogs since I was little and I absolutely adore them! I dogsit for my moms friends all the time as well! I currently work at a resturant in the evenings, but ill have plenty of time before work and on off days to take care of the pets! I can sit and play with them when I stop in, I can feed them if needed and make sure they have plenty of water as well as take them out to potty.
About: I grew up in a home that had many different kinds of pets- from pups to kitties, to rabbits & guineas! I love being able to give them the love that I would give my own. I have a golden girl of my own now that is my best friend, and I hope to share that love to your fur babies. I am currently working part-time only, so I have the ability to care for your babies around that schedule and what works best for you! My golden girl can be kept in her own space at home, so that I am able to provide a safe space for yours, if needed. She is free to roam when I am home, and is also very comfortable around other animals.

About: I worked for an Animal Hospital for 4 years and am familiar with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have dealt with some of the happiest and most anxious dogs and cats so I am pretty comfortable with anything. Will also give medication if your pet requires it. I have 2 dogs of my own who are very high energy, so I am used to that as well. I also deal with puppies and elderly dogs everyday so age is no issue. I don't mind any breeds! Small caged animals, fish, or some outside animals are no problem either. I hope you will choose me to check on your babies while you may be working or out of town for a while! Thank you so much guys! It will definitely depend on day and time but I am pretty flexible! I don't work quite as much as I used to but I do still work full time. I go by and do what I am told by the pet owner to keep the babies in routine as much as possible so they do not become stressed but with that being said I also am not able to stay all day or neccesarily the exact times you might due to also having a work schedule to abide by.

“Hillary and her family are amazing! We live about 40 minutes away, but as soon as we got there, we immediately felt like their land was a perfect place for dogs to play. So, it was worth the drive! Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! Daisy basically got a vacation while we were gone. Haha. Thank you, Hillary! We really appreciate you!”

About: I've always had pets growing up as a child, most being rescues from the neighborhood. My passion and love for animals has grown into my adulthood making me a very enthusiastic animal lover who desires to help all different types of animals. My experience in pet care varies from having pets of my own, watching and caring for friends and families pets and currently, my job working with dogs at a Peaks View Animal Hospital! I have cared for pets of all ages. Including bottle feeding kittens and puppies to giving medication to senior pets. I am currently working a part time job at Peaks View Animal Hospital. I would have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! I would be available for boarding Thursday-Sunday! I am also available for drop ins and walks Thursday-Sunday as well! I live in downtown Lynchburg and have an outdoor terrace available for your pups to sunbathe and play. I also live close enough to the trails to take your pups on nice shady walks! Not with Katie! I felt that our furry friend was with family. It was clear that our naturally anxious dog has made a friend. She seemed happy and content and although she was excited to see me, she was not anxious or rushing to leave Katie's place. Katie sent many pictures and videos and it was clear that Roxy was being treated like Katie's own dog. I will be using Katie again. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”
About: Hi! I have taken care of pets my whole life. I have a lot of experience with all animals with all different kinds of needs. I currently work 6am-3pm on Monday through Friday. I am able to come by and/or sit after work. I am available on weekends full time! I have an unfenced yard but it’s big and great for running around and play time! I have my own dog to either keep yours company or can stay with my sister to ensure the comfort of your pup!
