We both work full-time from our home office so we are home all the time (and would be able to 100% home sit), and able to do frequent walks and potty breaks as needed. I currently have three dogs (two bull terriers and a dane/mastiff mix) that I've raised since they were puppies. They are part of the family. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My first time volunteering was in 2010 where I started at the Homer Animal Shelter in Alaska. I volunteered for four years and had to stop to care for all of the rescues I had taken in to my home. May then husband continued volunteering to ensure we fulfilled our duties. I have rescued seniors and helped birth puppies of a foster dog. I have done IV infusions on a dog for kidney failure. The safety of our dogs is of the utmost importance to me. I work from home and am very available and present with them all day. We have lots of potty breaks, a fenced yard, and sleeping in the bed is a must! I have little stairs so they can be on any and all furniture. I do not spank animals. A firm tone is all I need. I love dogs and if your dog accidentally pees on my floor, oh well. I clean it up and we move on.

Which is a big deal for us as we prefer our dog to keep his training and even improve on it while away from the house. We loved the social aspect for Jake and really appreciated that Joel has a dog who can give appropriate social corrections while still keeping that fun loving nature of a true Alpha of a pack. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. “Our dog sitter (family) had something come up last minute before our 10 day vacation. Heidi stepped in and saved the day. We were able to bring our pup Bridger over beforehand to meet Heidi and her sweet dog so that we could feel better about it being a good fit before leaving town. It was our first time using Rover and Heidi was great about walking us through the process and asking the right questions. While we were gone Heidi sent daily updates with pictures and Bridger had a blast making new dog friends. All in all we would definitely use Heidi again!”

They helped ease our minds with lots of pictures and updates on how our needy golden was doing. Our dog is a little wild and has never-ending energy, but after pick up he was falling asleep in the car on the 4-minute drive home haha! She also made sure to invite us over before our scheduled sit to see her house and make sure all the animals got a long.
