About: I adore dogs both big and small, I have plenty of patience with senior dogs and understand their signs and energy. My dog is a senior, and I have experience with large senior dogs. I work full time in a pet-friendly office. I am able to walk them when needed, and being in a room personally they have their own space. I take my dog on about 3 short walks a day when we are home. During the evening I am a full-time college student online which gives me a very flexible schedule. I do not need to bring my dog into your home, he is very friendly and carefree. I am a very cleanly person, love walks and I will always leave your space better then I found it.

Before I left, we met so I could give her the rundown on everything around the house, and I dumped SO much information on her that I was honestly impressed she remembered it all. 😂 She handled everything perfectly. She came every single day, fed the cats, played with them, gave them lots of attention, and was always looking out for the little things like topping off their food and water and checking the Litter-Robot. She even cleaned up the occasional hairball messes they left behind, and on her last day she swept up around the Litter-Robot so we came home to everything looking nice and clean. I really appreciated those little extra things that she absolutely didn’t have to do. She sent me a report every day telling me how the cats were doing and how they acted during her visit, whether they were playing, cuddling, or just hanging out with her. I loved getting those updates, along with all the adorable pictures and videos. It made me feel like I could still stay connected with them while I was gone. Both of my cats warmed up to her incredibly fast. My girl Luna especially shocked me. She normally takes WEEKS to warm up to someone, but she was coming in for cuddles with Shania almost immediately! They absolutely loved her. Shania truly has a gift with animals, and you can tell how much she genuinely loves and cares about them. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away knowing that someone who loves animals so much was there taking care of them and, just as importantly, giving them attention and love while we were gone. I never felt like they were just being “checked on.” I felt like they were genuinely being cared for. I cannot recommend Shania enough. She is incredibly sweet, kind, attentive, and did such an amazing job. I would trust her with my cats again in a heartbeat. Truly money well spent, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for someone to care for their pets!”

About: Grew up training horses and caring for many animals including dogs, cats and rabbits to name a few. Each pet in my care will recieve some one on one time with me, and lots of cuddles and attention. I am a retired social worker, generally at home, I may leave for a few hours for errands then all pets are comfortable in kennels. I have 2 small dogs of my own, they are friendly, a fenced yard for play and exercise. Bring your own kennel and pet food. Pets are welcome on furniture but generally enjoy sitting on a pillow in my lap.

About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. About: We have 2 greater swiss mountain dogs Porter and Rev. They are great Boys and love having friends of all sizes to play with! They are excellent with new dogs and love to play and run around. We have been watching pups through rover/dogvacay for over 5 years, with many years experience around dogs before becoming part of the Rover community. We have a fully fenced backyard where all can run and have a great time. I am a stay at home mom so I am able to have pups inside with me most of the time. I have 2 younger kids. I can sometimes have difficulty recognizing implied expectations, hints, or instructions that are open to interpretation. Written instructions are especially helpful for things such as medications, feeding, household rules, behaviors to watch for, areas that are off-limits, and what I should do if an unexpected situation occurs. If something is unclear, I would rather ask questions than assume what an owner wants. My sister also provides communication support when needed. She tries to attend meet-and-greets with me whenever possible and is available by phone during bookings and stays to help clarify instructions, make sure important questions are asked, and assist me with communicating detailed updates to owners. I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet and home seriously. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while respecting your home and following the routine you have established for your pet.
About: I have always been the go-to friend, when it comes to taking care of their pets while they are away. Over the years I have had experienced all sorts of dogs and cats, and have given them all the care and love as I do my own pets. ❤️ I’m a full time hairstylist who’s just wanting some animal interaction away from the salon. I have Mondays available from 11-3 to snuggle, walk and play with your fur babies. If I am making a home visit, I will spend 40-60 minutes with your beloved pet. Making sure water is topped off, and feed if need, while giving your pet undivided attention in your absence. If I am dog walking, my dog and I will stop in and take your dog for a fun jaunt and play in the park. (40-60 min). (If my dog doesn’t get along with your dog, we can make it just me.)

About: I have been watching animals for 16 years and have been surrounded by them my whole life. My husband and I have two dogs and two cats. We have trained our dogs ourselves. We have a fenced in back yard and lots of toys and mentally stimulating activities for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I don’t love when animals are lonely and locked in cages all day - so I want to help you as best as I can! I work from home off eastern time with occasional work trips. I’m pretty flexible during the week and can move my schedule around to accommodate you! I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. We also have two cats but they tend to hide when there’s a lot of commotion. I can crate your fur baby at your request!
