Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

I am a stay at home mom so i am available for quick check ins during the day and available to walk your dog after 3 pm when my husband gets home and no later than 8 when my kids go to sleep. About: I’ve been a huge animal person my whole life. I’ve always loved helping and taking care of pets and even sometimes wild animals. My family always comes to me when they need help or have questions about their pets. I took a vet assisting class and know a little about wounds and health in pets. I am home most of the time, so I will be able to spend plenty of time with your pets. I am available mainly on week days and sometimes weekends. I have 1 dog who is small that likes to be with my sister most of the time. I also have 3 cats who have their own room. I have a large backyard that is fenced. About: I grew up in the mountains helping out on farms with all kinds of animals, and I have always had cats and dogs in my life. I have two cats and two dogs now, all very friendly with people and other animals. I'm experiencing watching friends and family's pets short and long term. I worked at a vet for years, and my wife and I have taken on rescues with health issues as well. My wife and I both work 3 days a week each and opposite days so someone is pretty much always home, unless we are on a trip ourselves. I have a good sized house and fenced yard with two friendly doggos, I have a laundry room that is set up for dogs so if your pup needs his own space we can do that. We have a cat that roams the house, but I can keep dogs and cats separated if needed just let me know ahead of time.

About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.
About: Ive taken care of cats of all ages since I was 10 and I have cared for dogs all of ages since I was 25. I have experience in training both cats and dogs as well. I now 4 years of training and care for domestic rabbits as well. I have recently stepped away from full time work to care for my daughters during the day and will now have plenty of time during the day and nights to care for your pet when care is needed. I will be available from 10-6 for day care, walks, playtime, and feedings. I will also have be open and available for boarding and overnight stays for those of you who would need that option. I have a fenced yard and two of my own friendly dogs who would love to play and entertain your pup. If crating is needed, I have a crate that can be used for your pup as well. Feeding and hydrating can also be done separately and secluded if preferred.
About: I have had years of pet experience and have a dog of my own, I've learned to pick up after them, play with them, and how to calm them down. I also have saved my own dog from choking a few times. I care for most every animal and treat them kindly. About: I've taken care of so many kinds of animals over the years. I was a small animal veterinary technician for 15 years and a horse vet tech for a few of those as well. About: I have many friends that have dogs and cats and I always know I love helping them with their dogs and cats. I started helping other dog hiker to sit and walk the dogs back in 2018, and then I stopped Rover after my pregnancy for taking care of my newborn, during which I still occasionally helped friends sitting their pets. Now my daughter is 5 years old and I remember all the good memories back the day when I sit dogs and cats on Rover. I love to hike on different trails with dogs and enjoy the nature. About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! My pug Odie passed away this summer and the timing isn’t right for me to get another pet. The huge hole he left in my heart will never be filled but me not being around animals is not an option either. Odie was a senior boy who required a lot of special care and medication. I also have previous experience with my pug Bandit and giving him insulin. Right now I volunteer 3 times a week at the Utah Humane Society walking dogs and spending time with cats too. I am very responsible and reliable and I’ve watched family/friends animals several times. I will love your animal almost as much as you do! I go to school online and choose my part time work hours. That puts me home most of the day and night. Basically 24/7 to ease your mind! I have a fenced back yard and a ramp at the front door for senior pets. In my hime I have a fence and a kennel that help keep my dog safe. In others homes I will accommodate whatever their situation. So if they have a kennel and want to keep their skills I will use it. If they don’t have a fence the dog with be on a leash. The dogs safety is the most important.
