We have a loving home with a very large enclosed backyard. Your dog would not just be in their kennel but in our home as part of our family. I only watch one dog at a time unless it's from the same family because it's not about the money as much as ensuring your dog gets all of our complete attention and love. Your dog will usually get a minimum of one walk a day... (usually on the Spanish Fork River Trail when weather permits) We will go out of our way to accommodate special requests when needed. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

I have experience with sick animals and managing and administering medications and monitoring symptoms. We have a HUGE fenced-in outdoor area where they can run around, chase squirrels, sniff, dig, and all the fun things! We also have a large indoor dog room for them to play, sleep and eat in. These areas make it easy for us to separate dogs if there are any aggression issues or if any are un-fxed. I work partially remote. I am a stay at home mom with a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I have plenty of free time to care for, walk, and play with your dog(s). I have a loving pit bull who is a gentle giant and two cats. I have a large fenced yard. My home is very small but we make do. I also have two children who love animals. We have a black house cat and a white Maine Coon. I am a firm believer that you should care for your animals the way you care for your children. I will provide a safe and loving environment for your your furry four legged baby(s). And my kids will play fetch with them for hours on end.

And on the weekends, I love to take my dogs on long hikes, to the dog park, or to go swimming! Please note that I am a student, so there will be times when they will need to be alone and unsupervised, usually kenneled, but I make it a point to expend energy before and after an absence like that so they will want to nap whilst I am away. About: I’m a huge dog lover and will treat your pup like family while they’re in my care! For allergy and home-cleanliness reasons, I currently only accept dogs with hair/non-shedding coats (such as doodles, poodles, yorkies, shih tzus, etc.). I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, and updates while you’re away. I’m home and available Wednesday–Sunday, so pet care fits easily into my routine!
