My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. About: Can't wait to meet you and your special animal! I would love to take care of your fur baby while you're away. I've watched my friends animals and rover sittings for years. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex in Sugarhouse where we have lots of areas for walks and outdoor fun. Trusting someone with your pet or in your home is never easy, but I would absolutely treat them as my own pets and keep them happy and safe. My work schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off so my availability will only be my days off when I can take care of your pet full time. Animals in my house or care are treated with utmost love. I have the time and availability now for round the clock care so happy to host them at my house or spend time at yours.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and I cannot imagine my day to day without them. When I graduated college I adopted my first pup Chloe and did the training myself. It was so incredibly rewarding and she is now 6 and we still enjoy camping, exploring and hiking together. A bit over a year ago I rescued Finn and did his training at home as well. Together we are a super active household with two working dogs and a lifestyle geared towards the outdoors. I currently work fully remote and spend most of my time with my dogs outside. I am able to take multiple walks a day and am able to be super flexible with my schedule. My dogs personally are crate trained for when I am out of the house. When I am home they free range the living areas and have multiple beds and toys. They get water 24/7 and dry food twice a day. I am incredibly flexible to incorporate any needs or other requirements while watching another's pet.

About: Hi. I live in Salt Lake City with my sweet cat Salty. I have experience caring for dogs and puppies as well as cats. Since I’ve retired early, I have time for new experiences and to meet awesome pets in new environments. I use a mobility scooter for long distances so walks on sidewalks and flat trails are fine. I’m unfortunately not able to go for walks over rough terrain but I love spending time in the mountains. I have an extensive collection of Airbnb reviews you’re welcome to check out. I’d love to care for your pet and house while you enjoy traveling. I am generally home during the day and night to care for your pet. Overnights at your house are welcome for litter trained or potty trained pets. I have a big but unfenced yard that gets visited by deer and other urban wildlife frequently. I have a leash on a pole outside. I have 2 litter boxes and a door that separates 2 separate spaces in my house. I’m comfortable sitting in the Salt Lake City area for dogs or cats. Unfortunately I can’t take long walks but short walks with my mobility scooter are doable.

About: House and cat sitting for a family with five cats. Some cats were elderly and required special needs. Cleans litter boxes daily and takes in mail and any packages. I am an educator and currently free every weekday between 8-6. I am on summer break now and go back to my school at the beginning of August. About: I’ve always loved animals! I’m not allowed to have my own while I’m renting but I enjoy playing and getting to know all that I get to meet! I am currently a pilot working on my hours! I get to make my own schedule doing that so I have plenty of time to add taking care of animals into the mix. About: Since I was a baby I had a white Lab named Cooper. Best friends have always had dogs. 3 years ago me and my mom took care of two little Labradors. I don’t currently have them anymore due to health reasons my mom was facing but would love to spend as most time as possible with animals, especially dogs. I house sitted three dogs for a week, enjoyed every minute with it. Sprinting in a field with a dog is one of the most freeing experiences everyone needs to live. I’m new to the area and absolutely love animals. As an entrepreneur, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for pet care. I see pet sitting as a wonderful way to stay active while exploring and getting to know my new community. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. In your home, I follow your instructions closely — including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or yard breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and favorite routines or rituals. During house sitting and drop-in visits, I also keep an eye on your home’s safety, bring in mail or packages, and maintain a calm, tidy environment. For dogs, I provide structured walks, playtime, and plenty of affection while respecting their energy level and training style. For cats, I offer gentle interaction at their pace — whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or simply maintaining their preferred environment — along with daily litter care and enrichment. My goal is always to reduce stress, maintain consistency, and ensure every pet feels secure, seen, and well-cared for in their familiar space.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for the last 10 years before getting my own pup! I love all animals, and after using Rover myself, I know how important it is to find a great caretaker who will set your mind at ease and take great care of your fur baby. I am very responsive and flexible with my schedule, and will always keep you informed. I have experience with reactive dogs, administering medication, and handling multiple animals at once. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds and will give them the love and care they deserve as if they were my own. I have my own dog, so I am fully aware of how much time needs to be committed to their care, and will be very detail oriented with your pet! I will gladly accommodate specific walking routes, favorite toys or play times, or any special foods to treat or avoid. I have a fenced yard and am very conscious of dog interactions since my dog has some reactivity. I am always mindful of other dogs or animals on walks to make sure my dog is safe and I can redirect his attention or avoid confrontation with off leash dogs, and will show the same attentiveness with yours! For any boarding/doggy day care requests, I require that your pup be crate trained for at least 1 hour at a time comfortably.

My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”
